For the older models it works only if you have ACC on, and are in a traffic jam.. I guess for newer MY cars it works all the time!

I guess its on MY 2020 and newer! The older ones that even have the front assist do not turn on unless its on ACC!

Interesting, must be a MY2021 thing, i also have the camera, and the front assist radar, as well as the ACC radar.. But for me it only restarts the engine on its own if ACC and TJA are on!

It does so IF you have the ACC on, at least for me.. Thats to get your attention to press the pedal, or move the stalk for the car to continue following traffic.

Isnt the heated sterring wheel control separate from the drivers seat, as far as i know isnt it controlled from the MIB, the AC page?

I am no expert on the modules, but i was told the big number on top is the HW version.. So thats what i bought on ebay, and worked for me! Bought the Q one, and its all good now.. Did you already retrofit the trailer assist and do you have the same issue?

I guess you got offended by my presumption, but my question was not ment to provoke, i am merely interested in that, as i know a lot of people that have RS4, RS6 R8, golf Rs and silimilar cars,as a former audi driver, and a member of an audi club i had the joy to meet and still know a lot of S, R and RS cars, as well as other modern Audi and VAG cars, and none of them use any sorts of keyless protection, nor have i ever seen anyone in general use it, thats why im so interested in this, not to provoke, but merely to get a grasp on why is that sort of theft so popular, as i understand it, it is mainly popular in more advanced parts of Europe, my country is Croatia, and i guess we have old school (stupid) burglars, that still use liquid nitrogen, crow bars, and laptops to jack cars.. And to aswer your question, in Skoda Club Croatia we have over 194 superbs, mk3s, and still a lot of mk1s and 2s.. So i would say thats more then 4..

Ok a serious question, how many superbs are stolen in the UK when all of you are using pouches, home boxes, and all that jazz?.. Before buying my superb i made an inquiry to my friend at the police, in year 2020, 0 superbs were stolen in my country, and all of 4 were stolen in the last 5 years..

No worries, glad i could help, in general yes, it is a must to calibrate RVC, but i got mine off ebay, and it was pre calibrated, and ready to use.. So no calibration for me, as described above, my issue was the gateway.. So just make sure your gateway is the adequate one!

I might sound like im undermining someone here, but whats the point of having a KESSY key in a faraday pouch, or any sorts of cage that inhibits its original purpose.. Its not like everyone wants to steal a Superb, again, not being an a..hole in any way, just stating the obvious, its not a golf, that you can flip over night.. Neither have i heard of any cars getting stolen like that, unless its a super/hyper car, which they cant afford to damage, most of normal cars get jacked the old fashioned way, with the help of a few modern tools, but still, they use brute force to open them up, instead of going through the pain of cloning a rolling code signal from the kessy..

So i presume i could get them to cover the same if the need arises..

Could you explain in more detail how and why has Skoda partially covered the expense? I see yours is a 2017, mine is end of 2016, so wondering if i get the same issue, how can i get Skoda Croatia to cover for the expense? Thank you! And glad you solved it so quick!

Hey guys, first time on this section, im a proud owner of an MK3 Superb Estate, and i am on the lookout for a Kodiaq. So i do have a few questions as follows, if anyone has some spare time to answer! I do thank you in advance for spending time on my probably stupid questions, but im not so familiar with Kodiaq. So, i am from Croatia, and the number of used Kodiaqs here is low to none, so im on the lookout for one in Austria/Germany and closer EU countries. I would love to pick up an RS, either petrol, or diesel, the number of seats is not of importance.. What is, i do want all the assist systems, i do want heated front and rear seats, would love to have front memory seats, both. As well as aux heating, front heated glass, and mirrors, and if i can snatch one with winter package, its a plus.. So on to the questions, i found a few, mostly having all of the above, but i see a variety, some have the digital dash (digital cockpit) but with older style steering wheel, do those Kodiaqs come with LED lights or are they xenon lights? As well they dont have the lettering on the bonnet, like others i found do, and they come with a newer style steering wheel, im presuming those are restyle models? Which year were those introduced? Do all kodiaqs that do have LED front lights have the smart light assistant? Do all kodiaqs come with DCC and drive profiles? Do all kodiaqs RS have the sound generator or was that an optional extra? I am indeed sorry for spitting out so many questions, but im kinda confused with the diversity of cars out there! Thank you in advance!

Do you have acces to obd11 or vcds to see any faults? For me usually it looses height calbiration, and you need to raise it up all the way, then release the button, press to lift up more, it goes up just a tad more, then do the same for lowering.. Try to do it like that for all directions, hold till it stops in any direction, then move the button once again in said direction , see if that helps!
