I never had a rear wipe for a hatchback.why would you want one for?you might use one or two times a year so a lot of money for something you rarely use.

I know it is early days but have you had any problems so far.?

When my son got a superb he put his travel fridge in the boot and used the 12 volt plug.it worked fine until he tried starting it up the morning.yes a flat battery so it must be live all of the time when plugged in.

That what I said ,why do people have no problems and other people do.i read all the posts on here and it will be interesting in what sneal ,has to say after his car as gone through the fix.also for all the other people awaiting a fix.i have my fingers crossed by the time my car comes(now 5 November all the problems will have been sorted)cheers

Why are people having problems and others no problems.i read the different software updates and I believe a update 1803 is out now.if so has it solved the problems the owners were getting?or is it just a ongoing thing updates after updates? Or is there a proper fix getting worked on by skoda/vw.

Hi many thanks,I would be grateful if you could send pictures and size of wheel.the problem with me is full size wheel is 19 inch.but willing to fit a space saver if I have to but would rather have a full size wheel.i do a lot of travelling and don't no the rules in other European countries regarding space saving wheel.i don't trust thesegel filling things when getting a puncture.you would think the cost of cars you would have a full size spare wheel,like years ago.

Just what I was reading it said from around 1000 to many thousands which sound a lot.just wonder what each model requires .i have a Octavia 4x4 vrs estate 200 diesel ordered just thought how many chips goes into this car .i thought I would ask on here.my last point I wonder why skoda do not chirp in with there thoughts on subjects raised on here.does anyone from skoda ever read the comments? I read about the world wide shortage of micro chips.what I would like to know is,does anyone know how many chips each model has in producing the car?

Getting rid of my Volvo v60,going for a skoda,reasonsit is great on motorways,a b------d to reverse,the same with the turning circle11.4 metres you can turn a artic easier,driving in the snow is a nightmare and I have won competitions in this type of conditions.the tyres I have 34 000 miles on the clock.so this my 3rd set of tyres going on.

You must of never drove a Volvo v60.the turning circle is 11.4 metres and skoda is 10.4.that is one of the reasons am going for a skoda.

Still waiting for my car,we are changing how to transport the dog.a giant schnauzer(our 4th one)we are going for the seat covers in the back that loops over the back and front head rest.holes are cut to allow for a seat belt attachment for him.going to have to build some thing to bare his weight48kilos)in the rear foot wells.the cover protect the seats doors etc.we travel a lot and found on a hot day the air con does not cool him down in the rear of estate car.

Thank you all for all the info.it just seems strange why skoda has fitted Apple CarPlay into there cars.when knowing not everyone has a Apple i phone.then the cost of fitting Apple CarPlay at the factory you would of thought they would have fitted a system compatible with most phones.

I have not got my mk4 estate yet but have been looking into things like spare wheel.i was thinking on getting a full size 19 inch .i know it will not fit into the well but would itfit ok on top of the well and not cause a big hump when I put boot cover down?

I ordered my car mid May told it would be around start of October,thena few days I was told 16 September.then last Thursday told skoda U.K. Had told them date had changed due to chip shortage to the 5 November.just like you I had planned driving around Spain in the car but that is out of the window then my son came to my rescue and he is going loan me his car a skoda superb hatchback.he is going to use my wife's Mini Cooper s .one last point he has not had any bother at all with his skoda.

Any help please.just been reading about pro and cons about Apple CarPlay.there is a few people saying you cannot use a Samsung android phone on Apple CarPlay and there is some saying you can.who is right?

I just hope what you say is right.i was thinking on the same lines and what I read slowly but surly things are getting better(at a snails pace)I hope not only for me but everyone else out there who have problems.i was supposed to the car next month but skoda put back until November as you it may be a blessing.
