  1. Most likely a regas will sort it. Any decent tech should test the system for leaks before refilling the system.
  2. I'd be inclined to try a pedal box if it's just more responsiveness that's required.
  3. Blimey, over a year I first posted about this. Anyway, it's still an issue, no DAB. That said, I have a few advantages on my side now, namely VCDS and more free time not that changes have been made at work. 1 Fault Found: 0013 - Antenna Amplifier 1 for Digital Radio B1270 13 [009] - Open Circuit Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 6 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 24 Mileage: 188633 km Date: 2023.05.28 Time: 20:02:42 Voltage terminal 30: 14.4 V Status of digital radio antenna 1-Antenna current: 0 mA Status of digital radio antenna 1-Connection between radio and antenna amplifier: Open circuit Status of digital radio antenna 1-Connection between antenna amplifier and antenna: Not available Status of digital radio antenna 1-DAB_Bit_Error_Rate_FIC: 16.777215 Status of digital radio antenna 1-DAB_Bit_Error_Rate_MSC: 16.777215 So, based upon the scan and the post above, all points to the antenna amp not being connected. Someone want to tell me where it is please? Extra fake internet points if pictures are included 😆
  4. So, some time last summer I bought a set of mud flaps but ended up being too busy to actually fit them. Then came autumn and the great kitchen/utility room refit and they got moved somewhere safe, so safe that I wasn't able to locate them. TBH, I was also too busy to have a proper look in the sheds that a lot of stuff had been moved to. I've actually had this weekend off (a real novelty!) and only managed to locate them. Fitting was a breeze.
  5. 5 litres of adblue is only about a tenner (ish). I'm also going to gloat about me only paying £20 VED despite having a more powerful motor 😁
  6. TBH, I've never given it that much thought as to the actual why it does it. I'm actually running about 240 if DTUK figures are to be believed, that mated with a pedal box and it goes like the proverbial off a blanket 😁 You should see the lights centre when slowed down or stopped. I'll admit I had my car 9 months before I noticed this feature.
  7. The RPM thing happens on the manual too, I've always assumed it's like an anti-stall feature.
  8. Was you're battery weak beforehand? Kangerooing is likely fuel related so check any injector connections in case you have dislodged something. The 2500rpm is the max when stationary so that's not an issue IMO. Your best bet is to have the car scanned properly as there will be fault codes.
  9. Get a claim into your local council given it's their responsibility to maintain the roads. Ruined wheels are only fit for scrap, slightly damaged ones however.....
  10. Seems today is the day you have learned that Skoda plugs are not the same as Pioneer. Best best is to go back to where you bought the Pioneer unit from and ask for the adaptor to make it all work.
  11. Not today but a couple of days ago installed a DTUK box thingy to give me more ponies and torques. Mated with the pedal box already installed it sure makes the car GLF on some settings
  12. Just for the record, I bought the VCDS & Tuning box over the weekend and @The Skud provided me with a tracking number by Monday lunchtime and they arrived on Tuesday morning. Exactly as described and even helped me out getting registered as the 2nd user. Very happy buyer 😁
  13. Get a proper computer 🤣
  14. That looks too low for a great many NI roads 😅
  15. I do as a matter of habit as it's what I was taught eons ago when I passed my test.
  16. Glove box I'd assume, that's where it is in my Superb.
  17. Assuming you have an SD card, https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/
  18. Cheeky offer of £400 for the tuning box & VCDS
  19. Funny enough, mine has started making a gassy noise this week when on. Hoping it just needs a top up as pressure is still good.
  20. I knew it was the front sensor as carista was able to tell me that. New part arrived yesterday whilst I was at work so when I got home this afternoon I fitted it in the glorious sunshine. Took 45 mins all in, most difficult part was disconnecting the plug. Now error free
  21. Update to this. Warranty company said I need to get VAT registered mechanic to diagnose and quote and they will only cover pattern part. The good news is my mechanic is VAT registered, the bad news being he is not so good on the leccy side of things and whatever code reader he uses tells him the same as my carista does. With work being so busy at the moment, being carless is a major and expensive pain so I'm going to just buy the replacement part myself but need to be sure I'm ordering the right part. I believe it's 3Q0412521A as per @nicknorman's suggestion above but would like a reassurance. For the record, a car will pass an MOT with the lights in 'safe' mode.
  22. Today I've actually realised that I still have a warranty on the car so I'll be on the phone on Monday morning to see if they want to try wiggling out of it.
  23. Urgh, bumper off sounds like a task. I'll hook up the carista over the weekend and see what that throws up. Weather's warming up next week should the bumper need removing.
  24. Late 2015 Superb 3V L&K Got cornering light error and need to know where to look before having to hunt for someone with VCDS or buy my own. It's not a bulb out as I'm pretty sure the maxidot would just say that. When the lights come on they do part of their little wiggling dance but don't rise up which I believe is their 'safe' position. That's great for other drivers, not so much for me. Where do I start looking? I have access to a carista but I know they're not much cop as a code reader.
