VCDS comes in three flavours. 3 VIN, 10 VIN & unlimited VIN. Each time you code something on a car it takes up one of the VINs (assuming you've not coded on the same car previously). To upgrade either the 3 or 10 VIN interface is $169 so good luck with your offer of a tenner. This might help locate someone local to you once you've looked at your budget again.

I actually bought the bulbs last year and misplaced them. Did a bit of a shed tidy up earlier in the week and uncovered them.

Switched out the rear indicator & reverse light bulbs for LEDs.

Most booster packs state up to what petrol/diesel engine size they are suitable for. The one I have will supposedly jump start a diesel up to 4.0 litres.

This is likely something breaking down as it gets hot so most likely a sensor.

They're not screw holes, they're there for the locating pins. Skoda original bars have two pins per each side of the bar, Thule has just the one. This post/thread will help. Can't help you on the bike rack bit though

Working off Superb controls here but I imagine they are the same. Click on the RHS scroll wheel and it will cycle through average since start, since refuel and long term.

I've made a recent change to Goodyear Vector 4Seasons and I'm very happy thus far on the 19" rims. Have previously had them on 17 & 15 inch rims. Great tyre. If they're too loud then turn up the radio

I know you are super helpful with wheels/tyres but suggesting a drop to 16 from 19 inch rims is a bit extreme don't you think?

Have you had it scanned for errors with a proper bit of software like VCDS?

The plug needs to come out. See that wee circular hole, press that in with something pointy and wiggle the connection out.
