  1. You're right, I was getting my assists mixed up 🤣 Surprised it's an extra on what's meant to be top of the range.
  2. With it being an L&K I assumed that blind spot assist was standard.
  3. Did you wash off the blind spot assist sensor on the side of the bumper too as I'm damned if I can see it
  4. Make sure there's a cambelt change in the history. I bought mine at just over 100k miles, the first 60k were done in the first two years. Runs like a dream
  5. Ouch! Be thankful you had a dashcam
  6. For a Superb? The genuine ones aren't what I'd describe as aero but they're not square either https://shop.wingsskoda.co.uk/products/skoda-basic-roof-rack-superb-iii-liftback The other alternative is to make up the above set from Thule and just make sure you get the evo bars. From experience though, the genuine bars are *so* much easier to put on and take off. Thule ones require a little bit more faffing around.
  7. MPG

petrolcan replied to Expatman's topic in Skoda Yeti
If the Yeti is classed as older then my old Vx Signum must be ancient by now. 1.9 TDi that never dipped below 50mpg unless I was wearing my lead boots. Best I ever saw was close to 67mpg on a run up north of the wall. My Superb regularly returns 46mpg from a tankful, best I've seen so far is 63mpg on a trip to the EU.
  8. It'll be under 'instrument cluster settings'
  9. Have a fiddle with the stereo head unit and it appears your car should have a stalk rather than scrollers.
  10. Assuming the seller has given the correct info, these will fit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115839990773 when coupled with adapter/fitting kit 5120 https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4_tab.php/roofbars/thule_evo_and_edge_clamp_on_adapter_kit_no_5120/Qx%40w%2C6M4gNax5vN1Yv0vegd3uH%40yKD3AF2~KPOmIwc3eFOF7.XBk1ziRShhVFgIg
  11. Brave man using a bloody brillo pad on the windscreen! I'd attack it with the razor method first.
  12. Get yourself onto ebay and search for the following Thule 135 cm roof bar (these can be square or evo, both fit) Thule Evo Clamp foot for vehicles four-pack black | 710500 Kit 145207 Compare then to the whole price on roofbars That is the correct vehicle. I actually have a complete set that I should list here. Only reason I won't use them again is that I got a genuine Skoda set at a great price around the same time.
  13. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/235079219734 You really need to take the old one off to double check the part number
  14. Well, I tried 😕
  15. The picture above shows the position of the sensor(s), take off a front wheel and you'll see it attached to the front suspension. I'll guarantee that one of yours has gone kaput.
  16. Best bet is to get the car scanned as that should pinpoint the issue. That said, I had the same issue on my MK3 recently and it turned out to be the NSF sensor. Replaced it and all was well again.
  17. That looks to me like you have bought a universal set of bars that'll allegedly fit anything with raised rails.
  18. It's gonna go to the scrappers @AnnoyingPentium
  19. Take it further asap. Also, why did it supposedly need calibration?
  20. Main dealer or local friendly mechanic? This only matters as to how hard you need to go at them. Doesn't really matter if it needed to be removed or not, the fact is it was removed and is now missing and they have a duty to either find it or buy you a new one.
  21. Well, turns out this was quite an easy fix. I'm kicking myself for not checking previously. The ruddy DAB black fakra cable was unplugged at the back of the MIB unit. Plugged it in and all is well.
  22. Careful now, you'll be accused of being a newbie and not knowing what you are talking about.....
  23. I've toyed with the idea of a NAS but decided they were too focused on doing just one thing when I needed more. I've ended up with a proper PC that lives under the TV and stays on 24/7, Liquid cooled i7 & 32GB of RAM. Quite a large case with the ability to take ten (I think) HDDs of which I currently only have seven spaces filled. Runs W10, Plex, mIRC and qbit and does everything I ask of it. Take what @varooomsays about shucking drives seriously, it's real easy to do and the savings can be more than 50% over a 'regular' HDD.
  24. It's a relatively recent thing (ten years or so) that air is being charged for. Only costs 50p down here in the glorious south 🤣 I'd expect that you won't have to keep topping them up though unless they all have some sort of leak.
  25. Oh, they've removed the physical button? Seems like a retrograde step.
