i was under the impresion that if its a toll road its a private road that you pay for the privilage to use so there is no speed limit  ive only used it once and i stuck to the inside lane to let the faster drivers pass easliy and my wee 1.4 civic was well and truly embarased

being a tight scotish git i dont go to rolling roads at all plus it still gives you an indication of the amount of increase that any mods have been made i never expected vagcom to be as acurate as a r/r if it was then i would expect every gaarage to have a set of free running rollers(or a long straight flat bit of road) and a copy of vagcom :P

@ basil im off work for a week from monday so i will put together a how to for the vagcom logs and graphs @ shifty the screen wash seems to work ok. today i drained the tank and filled it with 50/50 w/m but it will be 08:30 on tuesday morning before it goes on the rollers at star performance;) i now just need to start saving/working o/t to pay for a new clutch and flywheel:(

digitaldwarf replied to Basil's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
is that silicon (3M shiny very good but poor cut resistance) self amalgamating tape or butyl (cheaper not shiny but very good cut resistance ) at £7.00 a roll  self amalgamating tape has its uses but sealing an air intake is a bit of overkill -

digitaldwarf replied to Basil's topic in Handy Topics & Guides
i nicked mine from an old washing machine but you could use rubber hose or for an oem look some black flexible electrical conduit (they ran out at my last place of work hence the w/m hose) -
not to sure what happened at 3.K rmp but the roads were still a bit damp (that was my third run) to be honest vag com is ok for a quick check but i need some time on a dyno .at least i will know how accurate the vag com method is is it a cheap nos system ..basicaly yes its similar
