Just lately my car seems very thirsty - don't know if it's the recent poor weather but I was getting pretty much bang on 400 miles out of a full tank before the low fuel light came on - now I'm not getting anywhere near that - I'm lucky to get 300-320 miles before I have to fill up - anyone got any ideas on this? It seems to have been happening really only over the last couple of months, but I wouldn't have thought the cold would affect it that much. Cheers in advance guys... Big Mikey

I've never really thought the wind/road noise was intrusive in my vRS and I'm still running the standard Conti Sport Contact 2's. If anything, for a small car, I'd say Skoda have done a fine job of minimising wind/road noise in the cab.

Aye - it's illegal to have a cross ply and a radial on the same axle, but as for different tyre manufacturers/types - wouldn't have thought it would make THAT much difference... would it?

Hey buddy - exactly the same on mine at the moment - seems a lot worse with the cold weather - hadn't really noticed it before. Also - the ABS and ASR lights come on when I start the car and stay on for a few seconds - seems to have only started happening in the cold - anyone know if this is normal?

Just washed mine this morning - took me about two hours. What's this clay stuff you speak of?! I just normally use a wash/wax thing from Turtlewax and then chamois dry. Ya reckon I should wax the ****er too? Can you recommend a good wax?
