Clockspring replacement help
For same part number 5Q0953569A or B there 2 versions for VW and for Skoda. They have hardware difference, Skoda version contains elements for ACC handle. In most cases, you’ll buy the VW version, which means you won’t be able to code it properly and it won’t work.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Can be connected after conversion, in case MIB2 High. Mine 2015 MIB2 High has fiber optic, then was converted into 2.5 and successfully connected to VC btw, apologies, I quoted incorrectly, the question was to AMD87

Don't think about VIN in BCM As I said previously, you need new or used BCM Disconnect Car battery Replace BCM CP will activate whenever it's new or used CP off Immo adaptation (all your keys) Restore coding Done!

With your current BCM you can't do anything. You need used(legal) or new BCM, the only you need to get backup from your current bcm in case you want to install newer bcm(I recommend this way), because online won't give you coding/adaptations for newer version. If you install same BCM, you can do online coding and Odis will restore coding/adaptations. e.g. I installed FL BCM 5Q0937084EC into my 2015 Superb. You can buy it from Aliexpress(they're ok and legal), I believe it would be cheapest way. Because there a big chance to buy used one with same issue or stolen in bad scenario. And after CP off don't forget to assign all keys again from special functions in ODIS-S

Yes, bcm needs to be replaced. You need Odis online

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Here some info that I've found: 1st Generation (3AA/4H0 PQ/MLB): Installed at a 22-degree angle to the lateral side of the vehicle. It can detect three lanes simultaneously: on the left, right, and behind the vehicle. These sensors can track the trajectory of an approaching vehicle from behind, meaning they can warn the driver via a mirror indicator before the vehicle enters the blind spot. This is BSD (Blind Spot Detection) via SWA (Side Warning Assist). This generation supports the Rear PreCrash function, which, in the event of a potential rear-end collision, activates all preparatory safety features (closes windows, tightens seatbelts, etc.). The mirror indicators can also adjust their brightness depending on the distance to the detected object. 2nd Generation (5Q0): Mounted at a 45-degree angle and are no longer capable of predicting vehicle trajectories. BSD works independently for the left and right sides, and brightness adjustment is not available. However, the RTA (Rear Traffic Alert) function was introduced — it assists when backing out of a parking space by detecting moving objects crossing behind the vehicle (cars, pedestrians, cyclists). Due to the steeper angle, the detection range is shorter than that of the 1st generation sensors. 3rd Generation (2Q0): Also installed at a 45-degree angle but combine the capabilities of both previous technologies. While the range doesn’t quite match that of the 1st generation, it is significantly better than the 2nd. Additionally, they outperform the 5Q0 radars — they can detect guardrails, recognize up to 5 lanes, and transmit data to the front assistant camera, which helps improve the accuracy of Lane Assist.

Side Assist 5Q0 -> 2Q0 swap Just did it out of curiosity, so far I've only coded everything. Haven't even gone out to test it yet.

Help with Activating Travel Assist / Road Sign Display – Lane Assist Not Working
The pre-facelift has a 3Q0 front camera, where traffic sign recognition can be activated through coding/adaptations. The authors Superb has a 2Q0 camera, which requires a SWaP code. For reference: The first FL versions were produced from 07.2019 to 07.2020, featuring old steering wheels but a new 2Q0 camera. From 07.2020 onwards, they came with new steering wheels and MIB3. The author has the first FL version, so activating TA is quite simple - it only requires a compatible steering wheel and units coding I mentioned above(in case all required units exists). I can't help with SWaPs remotely, need ODIS and online. For TA you need to buy new steering wheel. And figure out with coding of LA. I believe there a lot of guide in internet. After that you can PM me about adapter.

Help with Activating Travel Assist / Road Sign Display – Lane Assist Not Working
First, you need adapter to have TA button or new steering wheel + adapter(better solution). I can help with adapter For road signs SWaP code needed TravelAssist activation: 09 BCM — Adaptation: [VO]_Aussenlicht_Blinker: [LO]_Travel_Assist_Blinken: [VN]_active 19 Data Bus OBD Interface — Adaptation: [VO]_Multi_function_steering_wheel_control_module Coding Value: [LO]_FoD Travel Assist: [VN]_activated. A5 Front sensor for drivers assistant systems — Coding: [LO]_Hc_variante: [VO]_Variante_2. 13 Distance regulation — Coding: [LO]_Travel_Assist: [VO]_Activated.

After 2Q0 swap, I activated Travel Assist Now, simply enabling ACC does not activate adaptive lane keeping. Below 60 km/h, neither adaptive lane keeping. After 60 km/h, only lane departure resistance is active. Pressing the Travel Assist button activates adaptive lane keeping across the entire speed range. This logic is very useful when driving in the city with adaptive cruise control. The car won’t interfere with your steering. On the highway, with a single button press, you can relax and enable all assist systems to their full extent. For this retrofit, a steering wheel with KLR is required, which has some nuances. I also developed a LIN adapter for button configuration for new SW and KLR emulation.
