  1. I'd start by removing the auxiliary belt to see if the noise goes away, after that your into the cambelt area. Does sound a bit like water pump to me.
  2. If you've changed the anti roll links and the suspension arm ball joints are ok it has to be the shocker. Sometimes the upper nut can come loose on the top which clamps the upper shocker bearing.
  3. Hello, thanks to god you got rid of the 1.6.
  4. Yeah for headlamps but led on any other lighting is ok.
  5. I'm in the trade and I know what dealers are like, pretty much every guy i work with doesn't have a clue! That guy reminds me of Steve 0 🤣

  7. Thanks. Yes it's a goldy looking sleeve over the card, I know how they work, push in push out.
  8. Hello I tried to remove the left SD card on my car but it seems it has some sort of anti theft tab on it. I think it was an ex hire car so maybe they put them on to stop customers stealing them. Anyone had this problem before? Don't want to yank it out with a pick unless I have to.
  9. Thanks I'll try the 0w/20 to start with maybe update to the 5w/30 or 0w/30 later.
  10. I usually just let the car warm up, heater in hot position, with the cap off untill the thermostat opens and then replace the cap.
  11. Thanks but I've sourced one now.
  12. I've got a spare impact wrench I don't really use that's all, a lot better when your at the side of the road in the rain/snow etc. I'll try find a local breakers for a jack cheers.
  13. You could put some aftermarket drls into the grille, would be cheaper than a new headlamp.
  14. I don't suppose anyone knows best place to get the jack, wheel brace and tools etc for Octavia estate 3? I have the sponge part but it seems everything else is missing. I might just put an electric impact wrench in the boot for speed so just jack needed really I suppose.
  15. Hello since the vag group keep on changing recommendations on engine oils does anyone have the latest spec? My car is late 2020 1.5 tsi, not sure if it's dada or dcpa maybe.
  16. There is a recall on some to remove the cover.
  17. Have you tried looking on Erwin or calling local tps with the part number?
  18. Have you got any other wheels and tyres to offer?
  19. Is it ok to remove battery for charging? Will I just have to maybe clear some codes after refitting?
  20. Thanks very clever.
  21. What is the difference between the my Skoda and my Skoda essentials? Also saw a few more apps in the store too.
  22. I'd stick with the 0w30 longline 3 FE I think it should be, at least until your warranty is up then after that could go to a 5w30 longlife 3.
  23. Hello please could someone help me with finding the vin number for my vehicle? I don't have the car here but I know the registration. Thanks.
  24. You never get all the old stuff out anyway, maybe a few litres when system might take 7. Could refill with distilled water and flush to try get more out before adding the new stuff.
