Pop pop,SOS
Hi all, I have this issue appear on my car. My OBD seems to think it is the issue that this thread is about. The skoda dealer wants £225 just to diagnose and tell me the same thing. Is it worth just going to a 3rd party garage and asking them to replace the battery?

Assist System Mystery on Dashboard Display
Mmmm yes the cruise control works but it is basic, nothing adaptive at all. Considering that this car has that mini radar thing at the front I wonder why it wouldn't also be used for adaptive cruise control. I bought the car second hand last November. I was just looking at the software and maybe it could do with an update?

Assist System Mystery on Dashboard Display
Sorry guys for not being as clear as I could be! I am referring to the black and white display in the middle of the console. I get to this page by clicking the assist button on the wheel , doing a selection of speed adjust or the lane guidance then clicking odd, which takes me to this blank screen. I think I saw a photo once of where there is meant to be a car image with a horizontal line that you adjust to set how close you want your car to be to the one in front. It could very well be the case that this is something that doesn't come with my car though it is odd that I have access to this screen. Also odd is that the speed adjust toggle does nothing. I assumed this was for some kind of adaptive cruise control.

Skoda Scala SEL 2021 Usb C sockets
I would suspect yes because the 12V was providing power to my tyre inflator when the car was turned off.

mud flaps
Are mudflaps strictly necessary? I was wondering as I do find it strange that the car doesn't have them by default.

"Data transfer is currently set to..." message?
Hey, did you manage to get rid of this message? I just bought a Scala (2022 plate) and am getting a bit fed up with this message constantly appearing...

Reversing camera install advice
Nice one! That's not too far away from me. I was able to get the garage selling me the car to fit the camera for £250, though they later said it actually cost them £400 as they had coding issues. Now I have browsed that site I am tempted with the digital dashboard conversation!

Data Protection Information
Hi all, just wanted to resurrect this old thread because I have the same issue on my Scala and I can't really see anything online about getting rid of it. Now that the car has been out for a few years, I thought it would be worth again.

Front Assist: sensor impaired
So quick update. I plugged in my odbeleven device and got it to scan for errors. It found this one and so I "cleared" it... that worked and the error no longer appears on the car. At the same time I also sat my car 120cm away from a flat piece of surface to allow it to re-calibrate. I guess that may have helped? I cycled the car through a few re-iginitions and the problem didn't come back. Fingers crossed!

Front Assist: sensor impaired
HI all, I just took ownership of my Scala today (22 plate) and I really like it.. Later on I plugged in a obdeleven to do a scan for errors. It didn't find any but shortly after I noticed this error come up with the /!\ on the dashboard. Front Assist: sensor impaired I read online and gave the sensor a clean but it was already spotless. I am not sure what to do. I don't think it was the obdeleven device but i cannot rule anything out right now.

Unleashing the Power of OBDeleven: A Must-Have for SKODA Owners
Well we have the option to turn it off when we start the car... We just need to do it every time as it resets itself in-between ignitions.

Unleashing the Power of OBDeleven: A Must-Have for SKODA Owners
Are Skoda able to make over the air updates to my car? I am not sure that there is that function with SE trim cars.

Unleashing the Power of OBDeleven: A Must-Have for SKODA Owners
I went ahead and bought a obdeleven. For £50 it isn't too bad in comparison to whatever the dealers would charge me for any kind of diagnostics or modifications. This device seems REALLY easy to use. Plug it in and then connect using their app. There are then some set programs you can buy for around £1.50 each. It is a little bit annoying that I need to buy this device just to turn off the damn lane correct feature but I think it will be worth it as during the test drive I found it extremely jarring for the car to suddenly take control over you.

Unleashing the Power of OBDeleven: A Must-Have for SKODA Owners
Do you guys think that these type of devices are worth it for a SE trim car? (scala). I am unsure as I don't think that there is that many things it can do with such a trim level..

odbeleven Worth it for a SE trim Scala?
https://obdeleven.com/supported-vehicles?Skoda/Scala/2019= I found this, which is interesting though I am not sure how many of those features would be SEL only.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series failes to connect to Android Auto
Oh interesting, I didn't know that you could have a wireless module installed. Depending on what the dealer comes back with I will inquire on having the wireless connectivity installed though I suspect that it will be a LOT more than 60 euros as the UK is just so expensive..

odbeleven Worth it for a SE trim Scala?
Hi all, I am quite interested in a odbeleven but I am wondering if it is worth it for a SE trim Scala as I am thinking there will be a limited amount of "things" that you can customize... though one big benefit will be the permanent switching off of the lane assist.
