I've been out in the car tonight and only managed to find a DLA setting which was turned on already. An off/on didn't sort it and neither did a lock/leave. Time to up the ante with a soft reset - but that didn't work either. Contemplating a partial infotainment reset and thought to check the light switch position. Lo and behold it was in the dipped beam position and not auto! Problem solved but I'll leave this here as a reminder to firstly check the obvious.

The really simple way is something that's staring you in the face - use a USB-C storage device. Granted they may not be as common as the older versions but they are out there. Alternatively why not have a suitable small cable to a different USB device instead?

I seem to think that Tesla's have a compromise system which starts charging extra for the time in excess of whatever % has been set in excess of a complete charge.

I pay for Connect so this may or may not be relevant but I seem to remember that a radio station had to be 'nominated' as the TMC provider. It's worth checking the menus just in case.
