  1. Are you referring to a Mk3 or Mk2 Superb?
  2. Isn't that for the Speed Limiting function?
  3. I don't believe that the first sentence is true but I think the second one probably is.
  4. For a car of that age you can use this cable but maybe not a good idea as the newer cables are more future proof.
  5. If you can't find an SD slot, just use a USB slot instead as they'll still be found.
  6. The ACC stalk is below the indicator stalk whereas the CC operation is part of the indicator stalk. Maybe show us a photo? Edit. I didn't read the post correctly and agree with the following post. Have you adjusted the 'follow distance'?
  7. I've yet to hear of a Fleet manager specifying non mainstream tyres as replacements. They may be there due to driver error as opposed to car error. However I'm sure you just plucked that fact out of thin air for effect.
  8. Maybe look at it this way. Is the car easier to control if traction is lost on the front axle or rear axle and when you’ve thought of the answer to that, where would you prefer the best tyres to be fitted.
  9. A very informative first post. Welcome to Briskoda.
  10. Normal album art needs to be less than 500 x 500 IIRC. There is a specific program that easily changes the size if you needed to further reduce it too.
  11. I appreciate that it’s all too easy for a thread to get sidetracked and one innocuous reply seems to have started the movement and then It continued from there. At least it hasn’t actually managed (yet) to get additional obligatory MPG figures from the Leicester Fleet though! Anyway back to the OP’s question but in a generalised way as I’m not versed in the various levels of Kodiaq spec. I don’t know which engines are in the higher powered cars but having the DSG would only make the driving experience a better one IMHO. It is a natural with ACC and if you really did feel the need for a bit of ‘manual’ driving then the gearbox caters for that too.
  12. If you subscribe to Connect then it will be ample for traffic info plus some extra bits.
  13. If you have a SIM slot then Three do a free forever 200mb/month SIM. Check out posts from MartiniB to download the latest maps.
  14. Why not join Freedom and advertise it in the Classifieds section on here?
  15. I agree. Was there a reason you mentioned that @Roottoot?
  16. Ah.... @JR RS does appear to have them without the headlights being on. Maybe that's down to the retrofit coding?
  17. Leave the box in place as it won't be noticed - unless you've excessively ramped up the response.
  18. No. Only with the main lights.
  19. Could be a big problem for winter tyres as they recommend changing them at 5 years!
  20. Those lights were only £100 extra when I ordered the car but could easily have been missed if I hadn’t realised their relevance. A similar thing happened with my first Octavia VRS as I didn’t spec the £125 MFD upgrade and therefore had to miss out on some additional features. That mistake wasn’t repeated on the second one though and xenons were also added amongst other things as they were preferable to the previous model’s yellow candle powered illumination!
  21. Lol. My previous post was a bit vague! With every new Android phone I always set this up to increase the screen resoloution IIRC. Also, looking back to the OP's photo, maybe if it's a mobile signal strength issue as it doesn't appear to be getting sufficient information to display correctly? Another potential aid could be to download the relevant Google Maps area to the phone to assist if there's a data problem?
  22. I'd try the dev mode option first though.
  23. GB numberplates have a certain font whereas yours have a ‘different’ one. Certain country’s have a style which is just about passable (but still illegal). Your type would certainly have cause for the police to stop the car though.
  24. It could be a dodgy cable but more importantly have you set developer mode on your phone?
