  12. Yep, some of the so called 'premium' wax manufacturers recommend applying via hand but you'll use soooo much less if you use a sponge applicator and you can put down such a thin layer that removal is a breeze...purely marketing IMO as you use loads more and will obviously finish a pot off quicker:rolleyes:..alas spending more of your hard earned. Going back to 476S, some of the 'ingredients'/chemicals in it's make up don't lend themselves to baby soft hands...think of it as the opposite of a Nivea handcream;)
  13. I hope you mean a sponge applicator pad by hand rather than by pad & machine?!...certainly wouldn't want to be spreading 476S about with my palms:eek: As has already been said..2 coats should see you a good few months of top drawer protection/beading.
  14. It's only the 'older' single stage solid reds that used to fade..read..Corsa, Punto, MR2 spring to mind. You should find the Corrida red has a clearcoat so no chance of fading issues.
  15. Looks good in the pics:thumbup: In answer to the above....not very long @ all!
  16. The Strad' is infact a 360 not a 430:P:thumbup:

  18. Yes agree with the above...don't let the dealer do anything with it apart from remove any transit tape. I can recommend Gaz - Detail My Ride - Detailing in Solihull and West Midlands Top chap and could advise you exactly what would be required subject to seeing the car:thumbup:
  19. SRP (Super Resin) followed by EGP (Extra Gloss Protection) leaves a very nice finish:thumbup:

  21. Saw one of these in town yesterday..in Jag Racing Green, as above really - nice looking as long as your not viewing from the front! ..oo driven by the token old man too, will that ever change?
  22. Yeah peanut butter to get rid of any wax residue from the plastic then I'd go with some Black Wow which leaves a stunning & durable finish to plastic. Black Wow is available here - http://http://www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk/black-wow.html
