  1. luckly i have had the pleasure of being the owner of a scooby wrx and a evo 1 and both as standard would have ****ed on the vrs, sorry but in a straight line and round the bends, but so far i have really enjoyed having the vrs, plenty of power with nowhere near the hassle i.e. fuel parts upgrading labour costs and insurance dont get me wrong i have really enjoyed both cars but at the end of the day they are all money pits and it all depends on what type of car you are after, like a every day driver or a weekend blaster, the vrs has been the best all round car i have owned to date, fast, reliable and a great family car. im slightly drunk so im off to bed so i am nice and fresh for work 2morrow
  2. if you can afford it go for the rear arb, induction kit then re-map. will make a hell of a difference
  3. Anyone know where to get a A pillar boost gauge mounting? had a good search but cant find anything and suggestions would be very helpfull
  4. well it does'nt matter if you are driving a fast car like a 911 johnycat, if you cant tell the difference between the speed limit and 100 mph as you suggest you do on a regular basis, is no excuse just because a fast car feels fast i know because i have been in a few my self and you do know when your going 100mph, i dont think that excuse would stick in court when you end up killing someone. Im not trying to get up on my high horse becuse im not perfect and have done it before, but i really find it hard to belive you cant tell the difference at 70 or hundred. As greg 123 said he noticed he was going to quick and corrected the situation but your saying you do it on a regular basis which i find rather worring. Sorry to sound off alot but i feel a little annoyed that your trying to defend yourself by saying because its a fast car you dont notice your speed.
  5. how on earth are those gonna fit behind your wheels ????? they sure do look the dogs doodaas, my mate has a evo 6 tommy mak with ap 6 pots on the front, and that stopping power is truley unbelivable
  6. I know what you mean and im not trying to have a pop, but to accelerate from 80 to 120ish is quick but you would need to have your right foot planted pretty much to the floor, i know because i have done (on a private track with insurance i may add) personally i rarely go above 75 anymore because i just cant afford to have no licence and with my cruise control it makes that job so much easier.
  7. personally i belive if you couldn't tell the difference between 80 and 100mph let alone 80 to 120 then you deserve whats coming, sorry to sound a bit harsh, but there is no way you wouldnt be able to tell the difference full stop, even at 90 mph there aint going to be many people travelling at that sort of speed on the m42, for your sake i hope you dont get done, but i think any credibile court would nail you to the wall sorry dude :( so is this story fiction or fact or are we wasting our time replying lol ?????
  8. i wrote my scooby off doin that at brize haha do'h:(
  9. im sure you dont 2 weeks after that last meet my beloved evo 1 was stolen and written off took me 6 months to find one in the condition i wanted it, owned it for 2 months and it was gone:( i shed a little tear that day so hopefully no bad luck this time lol
  10. last time i went to a car meet was with the mitsubishi lancers owners and my mate wrote his car off lol, it was his own fault he was driving like a muppet, but work permitted i will pop along
  11. well i did read the bit saying they were show plates but it also says when you build the plates the lettering is uk 3d legal, was just checking which is ashame cause i like the look of them, like you say though if your driving sensibly then im sure you would be fine, but it aint really worth the risk cause lets face it, everyone gives there car a good blast every now and again, and there are rozzers hiding everywhere waiting to pounce lol thanks for the replys
