  1. My monte TDi is also a 2013/63 and I've clocked up over 41k in it already! If it goes as well as my old vrs did with 150k on it I'll be a happy bunny indeed. I've recently had a coolant pipe weeping from where a sensor screws in but other than that it's been a gem so far, oh and a really anoying rattle on the dash!
  2. Yeah I also thought it was a bit rubbish but I don't use the Nav that often
  3. You can only see where you are and the surrounding area by using the middle dial to zoom in and out you can't move round the map to different areas
  4. A good fix I found for the water running across the window was using turtle wax water repellant
  5. So the buttons clearly work, seems it's down to the phone? As you said try and find someone with an updated iPhone and try again then that may pinpoint yours being jail broken but I don't understand how that would affect the music side of things.
  6. I've just updated to 9:3 and still works fine, seems very odd how you can't skip with the buttons
  7. Have you got music open on the phone and playing through a playlist? If I've been watching a video on YouTube through the phone for instance and want to then play music through the car I have to manually open music and play then I can skip tracks using the buttons otherwise the screen just stays on "Bluetooth audio"
  8. I've got an iPhone 6 and I can skip tracks using the arrows and by using the buttons on the end of the wiper stalk. Have you tried resetting the unit? Switching it off or even disconnecting the battery? Try using the buttons to search for a radio station to make sure they actually work.
  9. They look a good buy, just don't get the cheap ones from China as they're fakes!
  10. I hope whoever you lent your car to is paying for the repair?
  11. Have you tried turning the bulbs round in the holder? Cheap bulbs are generally crap, get something better like Cree
  12. Is there anything else needed to fit the Yeti wheel or is it just a case of straight forward fit and code it?
  13. It's not just HID's that dazzle people, normal halogen bulbs can do exactly the same if not aligned correctly! I have no plans to remove the HID's from my Monte Carlo fabia, they've been properly aligned and don't dazzle oncoming traffic and more to the point standard halogen bulbs are horrendous in the black headlights as many will agree!
  14. Sounds like a faulty map sensor?
  15. Have a search for a black edition monte, they're the last of the line and are a 1.2tsi. Being a black edition they have heated seats, sat nav and maxidot as standard, I think there was only 500 made but could be wrong
  16. Depending on your budget the last of the line "black editions" which were all 1.2 TSI 105bhp have sat nav, heated seats and maxidot standard.
  17. Have you checked the fuse for them? I'm assuming you've got the ignition on when you've been playing with the switch?
  18. I fitted the rear sensors from Skoda last year, easy to do and work great
  19. Sold my 06 vrs with 148k on it and it ran like a dream, still miss it now! It's MOT last year states 165k so it's still going well. If the ones your looking at have good history and good bodywork then go for it regardless of miles!
