Photos on phone not showing.
Yes that's correct and I think this is my problem cloud v phone storage. I deduced that any photos that have be enhanced or altered etc on the phone are now corrupted. I managed somehow to get back around 75% of my photos to show in the phone, how I have no idea. I did uninstall the photos app and reinstall but this immediately didn't solve anything. Now after a little tweaking we have a large percentage back. The I reckon that don't show as I say are those that have been adjusted previously on the phone.

Photos on phone not showing.
No I can't see anything on the phone although the phone shows up as a connected device when plugged in via USB. I usually back up photos to an external harddrive every so often so it's about 3-4 months of photos that can't be accessed and won't show on the phone.

Photos on phone not showing.
I have a Motorola G7 power with Google photos app installed, guessing most come with this as the norm. Anyways up to around a week ago all my photos were there and showing in the app now most don't. I get the odd one that shows up in the list, let's say around 6 out of maybe 200, the rest just greyed out but they are definitely there. If I take a new picture they definitely show up no problem. I also have an album from 2017 showing up on the drive, all nice and clear and showing but this is an album synced from Flickr. It seems a display problem to me, my two Google accounts are all synced and working properly, I'm signed in and all permissions known to man are enabled, I just can't fathom why it's like this now when it was all working fine 1 week ago. BTW the phone hasn't updated recently, I know sometimes that can screw things up, it all up to date as it says so. Any ideas on how to solve it apart from maybe a full reset of the phone?

Skoda rapid 1.2 engine fault code P2138 throttle/pedal position
Yes I've had the very same fault code when read. Mine too, although a Toledo (same engine and most other components under the skin) went into limp mode, no power. Codes read by myself then the garage came up with throttle position sensor faulty. Cleared codes and it happened again after a short while. Also I had the traction control and also the engine management lights come up too. Remedy for mine, I had a new battery fitted, less than 5 years old it was failing and not providing enough for the car, btw mine's a stop/start. Man at the garage says he's seen a few vag cars with similar code faults, new battery sorted them. Not saying it's your fault 100% but just get the battery checked as a first call, it may save a long list of trial and error fault finding, throttle position sensor quoted for my car £112, not needed but a new battery £140 heavy duty was.

Urgent help on steering
Poor battery, not holding a charge caused my traction control light to come on. Having read the the codes it said throttle position sensor at fault. Codes reset, it happened again, took into the garage and they confirmed what I already knew. But their clever mechanic tested the battery, confirmed to be below par. New battery solved the problem. Morale of this story, get your battery checked first👍

Pre 2015 Engines : Are they really that bad?
Back in 2014 my Toledo was £11499 new but pre reg. So only 10 miles on the clock, fully loaded, sat nav, climate, even a proper spare wheel, full mats set, cargo net etc. The only thing it lacks are heated seats but with cloth fabric not really a big deal. I've had all amounts of stuff in the rear, seats down its acts as an estate more or less, massive space. Tried to sell it around 2 years ago, no takers it would have been a good buy, keeping it for now, only 26k on the clock.

- Pre 2015 Engines : Are they really that bad?
I can say my 1.2 Tsi (105) runs sweetly. Regular oil changes, bit OTT here I change at around 5-6k miles, that's all I do per annum. Agree the Rapid , for me it's the Toledo flavour, ticks all the boxes. Into 6 year ownership now, I've looked at many cars/mini SUV types and can't really find anything that could be better to change to for bangs for bucks like this one. Couple that with cheap for me insurance, running costs and £30 VED what's not to like.- Idiotproof instructions required for sat nav update pls
There different Amundsen units so maybe a picture posted of it could help. I bought an updated SD card with the latest maps on only this year. My model is the RNS315, just insert the card and update. Picture shows the out of date mapping in the unit, I updated to V12.- Idiotproof instructions required for sat nav update pls
Which head unit?- 1.2TSI stop start not working properly
That's how it's supposed to work, stopped it cuts the engine, to restart press clutch down to engage gear.- Skoda Rapid 2017 1.4 TSI Hatchback
Never heard anyone changing the fuel filter. My motto don't get looking for stuff to fix if it don't need fixing, or in this case replacing. I've got the 1.2 Tsi engine, great engine so far. It's on 25k miles in 6 years so just warming up compare to yours, only a new battery and a set of tyres in that time apart from your normal servicing.👍- Raspberry Pi 400 - Any takers?
Where from if you don't mind me asking? There are few supplier's, I might have a go at this.- Rapid Spaceback engine/fuel
I have the 12tsi petrol engine in my Toledo. 40-45 mpg if you are careful, more on a long run of course. All mine's cost me are oil changes and brake services, nothing spent on brakes, I do the work myself. I've had a new battery and a new set of tyres in 6 years. Engine runs sweet but I change the oil every year even if I've only done around 5k per year for the last two.- Avon's
I've just had fitted a set of Kumho 16" PS71 to my Toledo so have a look at prices for those. Much much better than the Bridgestones they replaced. Also have the same (earlier version) on my MX-5, been on 4 years and very impressed with them over around 15k miles.- Brake disc and pads change?
It looks like the pads are ok (fronts in the pics guessing?) but the discs have quite a lip so guess they could do with a change. At 47k miles they ain't done bad, of course a change of discs mean new pads too. I did my Mazda fronts, discs/pads last year, just changed the pads at the rear discs were fine. Easy enough just push caliper back on the fronts, g clamp does the job, clean up the around the caliper piston, red rubber grease for the pins after cleaning those. Rears will most likely need a wind back tool, still easy enough on the piston.- how to disable alarm?
If it's the same as on my Toledo the button in question could be on the door pillar down at the side of the drivers seat. Press the button in and it should light indicating the interior sensors are cancelled. Goes something like, remove the ignition key, press the button, lock car as normal. Upon unlocking the car again the sensors are reset so repeat the operation each time you don't want those trigger the alarm.👍- Dash-cam fitting
Not sure if the same, most other stuff is, on my Toledo I piggy backed on to the door mirror fuse circuit. Just works when the ignition is on which is what I wanted.- advice for buying rapid spaceback
I can only say the engine is fine, plenty of torque although it still needs to be revved to get off the mark, it's the turbo on them. I've got the 1.2 TSi 105 engine in my Toledo, same as the Rapid engine, although not sure what engine that car has you linked to. You'll find the engine is used across the VAG group VW/Skoda/Seat range. They have turned to the 1litre turbo engines on most in this class now in the last few years. Also not sure what the brakes are, some have drum brakes at the rear. Mine has discs front and rear, they are perfect for the car, stops well on them. Sounds like I'm bigging up the Toledo, it really is a good all round car, loads of boot space and with the seats down I've had a dining table and the chairs in there, a wardrobe, really handy for those trips to Ikea etc. With sat nav, climate control, cruise plus loads of other features, you even get a spare wheel, over 40mpg around town and £30 VED what's not to like. So if you can find one with all the goodies great, the spaceback should be just as good but not so many additions as Toledo has.- RNS-315 V12 Maps - have they finally fixed the UK bug?
Just to update my post.... Navigation working fine, not encountered any glitches so a happy bunny with the map update I purchased. AMD87 messaged you yesterday re the update, hope this helps. eBay was my source, have a search, £23 ain't a bad price, quick delivery.- Tyre noise
There's a good deal of conjecture around tyres, each will have their own prefered brand or not for that matter. I used to have Michelins way back (years ago) as I thought they were the best for grip and pretty quiet. Quite expensive then and are these days, sometimes being an expensive tyre doesn't alway mean you get the best. Bridgestones I find them pretty harsh (hard) and noisy, I had suffered them on my new SEAT for many years, not my choice as they came fitted new on the car, couldn't wear them out but they eventually got past their best and degraded badly. I'm on another forum and Mazda fit those to new cars, not the best is the general feeling and some members can't wait to get rid for there favoured brand.. I've had fitted Kumho to both my cars, middle of the range/brand some say, even cheaper end of the range of tyres it could be said. They are a perfect all round tyre, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.- RNS-315 V12 Maps - have they finally fixed the UK bug?
I've just loaded the V12 mapping to my unit. I can't really say much yet apart from after testing a whole 4 miles of driving with the nav on everything seems to be ok. The install went ok, thus far all good. I can give you a better idea after tomorrow, a better test drive, bear with me on that. I messaged Chris to just tell him the above really and where I got the update from, bear with me on that too.- RNS-315 V12 Maps - have they finally fixed the UK bug?
Chris message sent👍- RNS-315 V12 Maps - have they finally fixed the UK bug?
Chris... I've got the V12 map update in my possession, arrived yesterday but haven't got around to installing it yet. Apparently it needs a couple of hours to install, I'll get to it today and report back how it went.- Any additional jacking points?
Hmm.... Maybe not place the axle stands under that rear cross beam then, you'll need to lower that to get the springs or shocks off. I'd jack on that then place the stands (with suitable pucks or a wedge of wood) under the sill jack point. - Pre 2015 Engines : Are they really that bad?
