  1. I agree. In my experience (twice in the last week, let alone before that) it's the drivers who are in the wrong that give the worst response. Both times it was at a roundabout when the "nice person" beside me decides to wander across into my lane, which are clearly marked, and I sound my horn so that I don;t have to move into the car that's next to me on the other side. I then get verbal and finger abuse, and the second even went to swerve into me having got off the roundabout! WTF is their problem. If I had been in the wrong, then fair enough but I woudn't get angry about it. Sorry, I was forgetting - I was in the wrong for being in their way when they needed that piece of tarmac that I was locating!

    House

Thank you, but you don't need to - I edited my post having actually searched it myself - I was just being a lazy a**e.

    House

There are certain websites out there that already have all the episodes of House that have been shown in America. Just do a search for House Series 5 and you will find them - I don;t know what they're like as I've never used them. Someone else may be able to suggest which are the best ones to use. Did you happen to notice when it is beginning on Sky? I've now looked it up - it starts on Sunday 31st May... I cannot wait!!
  4. Don't forget the Blackberry - I haven't got one, just thought it might feel left out
  5. I don't know legally, but if you've paid for a years insurance and not made any claims then you would have a no claims bonus with that company. You need to work out whether it is financially worth it - also it will be worth checking wen you can apply the NCB to a new insurer as the MoreThan insurance doesn't end until November.
  6. Is it possible to turn off the automatic wipers? I am finding it very annoying that I am regularly having to put them on the constant setting to slow them down, or having to change the setting so they wipe when I need them to - i would much rather have the 4 intermittant speed settings. Thank you in anticipation of lots of helpful answers...

  10. We went for our honeymoon last year... in fact this time last year I was out there. Anyway: When are you going and to what part of Cuba? We went to Cayo Coco last May and it was excellent - very hot even though it isn't their summer. With respect to the antihistamines I'd take them anyway just incase.
  11. Living in Bradford will probably explain why I'm not selling that many.. Will have to discuss with swmbo about moving to Wales
  12. Errr, yes that's right - sheep dealing That's how I paid for my second car, the Ford Baa!! :P
  13. You'll get insurance with some companies, but obviously their premiums will reflect the 'young-drivers' risk. It all depends on the individual company's customer target. If they don't want to insure young drivers in a sports-line car then they won't give you a quote, either that or a stupidly high quote.
  14. Get trading in the white stuff - and I'm not talking about icing sugar!, and you too can have a car like the rest of them...
  15. Get some local postcards and send them to your family and friends. Better still, get some postcards for exotic locations and send a different one to your family and friends - that'll confuse them!
  16. My family continued to eat Beef when the BSE thing began, a bit of swin flu is not going to stop me from eating pork - can't wait for the BBQ on monday

  20. Sorry for being ignorant - what does SPECS mean? - is that the official name for the average speed, I mean "safety" cameras?
  21. Glad to hear they are accepting liability. Hope the repairs go well and your head recovers soon.
  22. Hope you, and any passengers?, are ok This all depends on the value of the car and the cost to repair the damage. A car is written-off if the repairs cost at least 60% of the value of the car. You will need to wait to see what the engineer says who assesses your car as to whether it is repairable or not. Hope your claim is assessed and finalised as smoothly as possible. Just a note on courtesy cars - you are entitled to a courtesy car through the other party's insurers. If your car is written off make sure you check how long you are entitled to the courtesy car because if you go over you will incur hire costs of the vehicle. Andy
