I thought so! Hi Corinne! Sure I still have you on facebook. Is Phil all OK too?
-
Are you pixi of isle of Wight fame?
-
I'm still about but not active. Slow numberplate is now on a BMW 335D as my fabia is undergoing a 18T conversion and is currently off the road and back on its y plate.

In search of a mk1 vrs bumper
devonutopia replied to bigsy's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
Sorry no front bumpers. Do have a yellow rear one though. Silver rear one soon (front one already reserved off that car and not even started breaking it yet) -

Fitting pd150 head bolts?
devonutopia replied to lukeanderson31's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Order doesn't matter when doing 1 by 1 as other 9 bolts hold everything down when doing each bolt. Just remember which are done and which aren't. -

Bumpy ride,...Low profiles or Road conditions
devonutopia replied to Alex1960's topic in Hellos and Goodbyes
Will depend on your car, and what brakes it has as to how small a wheel you can fit. Obviously increasing sidewall size will assist in comfort.- 4 replies

When I break a stock vehicle (all working, some wear & tear etc) it's usually about £1,500 in the end. Obviously this isn't taking in to account the time and effort to bare bones strip a whole car. Fully working I think this car is worth up to £3k, but it would need to have good details of what was fixed, full MOT, etc etc. That interior is lovely!

Yeah - not taken any myself yet. That was from the seller's pictures.

351bhp so it shifts Full leather so not too worried about having seat covers. Not Xdrive no - No I Drive either so fairly straight forward in most respects.

Not sure how many bloody Mary's I need to resolve this sin! Bought myself a 2006 BMW 335D last night - already DPF sorted and mapped to 351bhp. The Fabia is going nowhere though. It may end up being made into a track only car. We shall see. The BMW is capable of towing 1.8 tons so there's options there. The 335D is M Sport trim but as a Cat C write off, the whole rear end is newer so looks quite good compared to the 2006 oem look. Will need some sorting out but for now it drives good, good power, and I am really enjoying it Pics to follow.

Does anyone understand tax and national insurance?
devonutopia replied to VRS Mike's topic in The Roadside Hotel
Normally don't all "extra little jobs" get put on BR tax code so no NIC etc paid, and just a basic rate of tax deducted on the whole salary?
