  1. Do you mean the push connector I've circled in the photo?   2. I've had to convert to hydraulic clutch in my 1.8t Felicia, there's a few ways to do it. I would suggest using the original clutch pedal and fitting a clutch master cylinder to it. One way is to use a Wilwood master cylinder like this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F331561586302 Just get a suitable clevis attachment so you can bolt it to the pedal. I ran like this for 7k miles worked fine but I takes up much needed room in the engine bay, if you see the photo you'll see what I mean. So I decided to fit one inside the car using the original clutch cable pin at the top of the pedal. I've used a new style Mini master cylinder but turned around so it will push towards the rear. I only have one photo but you can make out what I mean. It's pedal fully down in the photo. You'll just have to come up with a way to mount it, I made a mount for it and welded it.

  5. I would suggest about the mk3 parts as they're getting old and harder to find now. I recommend finding a Polo 6n2 GTI and getting the complete rear brake set up from it, so Calipers Carriers Stub axles Hubs Discs (232mm) And then some conversion hoses mk4 golf to mk2 Will all bolt straight up to a Felicia.
  6. I've had a quick look on the parts catalogue and can only see the one type on there which is the plate type. It shows part number 037 115 220 B. I suppose you could buy both types and return whichever you don't use.
  7. @Bete Noir Jeez I was only trying to help, I had just got back from a stag do in Benidorm so was knackered to be fair and granted did miss a couple of your comments. I could have worded it differently but in no way was I trying to be patronising. My suggestion of 02J still stands though as I thought it was alot of work for 6mph in 5th gear coupled with the old shifter etc but it's your car/time/money at the end of the day. Yes the chart I put on isn't the full list but It wouldn't let me put the other one in for some reason hence it being different to the 02J chart. I'll probably just steer clear now to avoid anymore cacky replies. Crack on and all the best with your Caddy though 👍
  8. Sounds like abit of grief that does mate! Regarding gearboxes I have a full list of codes and ratios. You would probably would have been better upgrading to an 02J gearbox, has nicer shifter and there's also a OEM short shift option. Basically a straight swap too. You can swap the 5th gears on these boxes (02a and 02j interchangeable) I chose an ENJ 02J gearbox for its ratios and final drive 3.6 then had the lowest 5th gear I could find (0.71) put in for motorway cruising. But there are a hell of alot of choices though, would be best to look through the list and pick one that would suit you best. http://westfield-world.com/gtc.html This is a really good link, you can enter your tyre size then final drive and gear ratios.   9. I had this problem with an AFH before and I managed to get it to idle after cleaning the throttle body and then doing a throttle body re-alignment/reset on VCDS. However I used the actual AFH Ecu not sure how much difference this actually makes though.
  10. No problem. It's possible to fully polybush a Felicia besides the front top bushes which I don't have a solution for. Everything else can be done.
  11. Don't think there's any rear turret panels available. Closest would be repair turrets for a mk1/mk2/mk3 Golf. Ebay has rear Felicia arches for hatchback/estate. For a pick up you repair the rear arches using Felicia front wings on the opposite sides from what I've read.
  12. Don't think any seats are a straight swap. Best just pick some seats you like and make them fit by modifying the rails.
  13. Use mk2/mk3 Golf rear top suspension bushes, straight swap. A few companies make these in Polyurethane in different ratings.
  14. Been a very long time since I had a 1.6 AEE engine but I'm sure that's the crankcase breather, should have a pipe on it going up then into the air intake.
  15. I don't think that you can buy them. I'm sure I've seen people use mk1 Golf rear turret panels which you can get new.
  16. They seem to be pretty hard to get hold of, the part number is 115930010 or 115930010a from what I can work out. I'm not sure but I wonder if a Felicia one would fit? As they are more readily available.
  17. Braking- I know one person has retro fitted ABS to his Felicia but I believe It's alot of work and I'm not sure It's worth the effort. There are a few brake upgrades you can do though Rears you can use mk2/3/4 Golf calipers with mk2 Golf carriers/226mm discs/stub axles Or Take the lot from a Polo 6n2 with 232mm rear discs. Both straight bolt on fit, just need slight re-route of the handbrake and make a sleeved spacer for the cable. Fronts you can upgrade to; -256mm vented mk1 Mondeo calipers/carriers and Kia/Hyundai discs -280mm vented with mk1 Mondeo V6 calipers/carriers and Renault Scenic discs 300mm vented with mk3 Mondeo calipers/carriers with RenaultScenic discs. All fit with some minor modifications, have be careful of wheel fitment with bigger brakes. Suspension- You can get coilovers to fit the Felicia using mk3/mk4/mk5 Escort fronts and using mk2/mk3 Golf rears. Or as you said stiffer springs on stock shock absorbers. You can get a front strut brace, guessing yours has one as standard being a 1.6. You can fit a 22mm anti roll bar to the front from a Felicia/Caddy pick up and fit stronger/better quality drop links from a Cordoba, Polo etc. These drop links come with an M12 nut so you can do away with the poxy M8 Felicia ones. Then use Mk2 Golf/Polo 6n etc polybush anti roll bushes. Speedrpro.eu sell uprated bushes for the wishbones and rear axle. You can make a rear anti roll bar to fit the rear beam, I used a 27mm from a Mitsubishi L200 pick up and this made the biggest difference reducing body roll. Engine- Yours being a 1.6 the easiest swap would be the 1.4 AFH, bolt in job pretty much and will give you 100bhp stock or approx 125bhp on bike carbs Or you can make the 1.4 AFH into a 1.6 AFH using either a the AVY block with AFH head or AVY internals in the AFH block this would give 125bhp approx stock or 150bhp approx on bike carbs.

  19. You're best going for the 256mm vented brake upgrade, pretty straightforward.
  20. I doubt AFH could be ran on a AGU ECU though I've never looked into it! I'm sure it could be done on a standalone ECU like Emerald or Megasquirt. But then I doubt the AFH could take much boost as standard and even with lowered compression I'm not sure the rods/pistons/valves would be happy! But I'm sure it has been done and the information is out there! Regarding the throttle body the nearside sided inlet manifolds are small port where as the AGU is offside and large port so you would possibly loose some HP but might gain in torque but not sure the gains/losses would be much on a K03 turbo. Also the intercooler piping can be routed shorter which ever way you have the manifold makes no real difference, personally I think there's more room with AGU manifold. Easiest upgrade for you @Bete Noir would be a k03s or k03 hybrid, straight swap and could see 250bhp+ with a remap, injectors etc
  21. The wiring is fairly straight forward, you shouldn't even have to touch the fuse box or the clocks. If you splice the Felicia engine loom with the 1.8t AGU engine loom then it will be plug and play and everything on the Felicia will work as it should. This link is very handy although it's for a mk2 Golf conversion all the information is there, all the pinouts etc so you can workout what you need. However if it's illegal i highly doubt you would be able to hide a 1.8t in there, might be better making your 1.4 AFH into a 1.6 AFH and tuning that!
