  1. I was just looking at the same thing. I've attached a screen shot from the Superb manual, and (mine at least) seems OK as it flashes when indicating.
  2. If it makes you feel any better mine is the same. Being slow I'd not even realised it was an error message, I thought it just meant it was plugged in!
  3. I'm of a fairly average build and height, but I think the point about DSG is an important one. I also had a manual Octy II and in my case even after 10 years was never happy with the seating position - to be OK for the clutch I was too near for the brake (and lesser extent accelerator). Our Superb is a DSG and I've found it massively easier to set-up to an "OK" position. The better half is 5'3" and agrees with the above. The same (but to a lesser extent) was true when we switched her car from a manual Alfa to an automatic* LEAF - the LEAF was much easier for us both to find a comfortable position. Jon *Probably not important on this forum, but not strictly an automatic as the gear ratio is fixed, but it does only have 2 pedals.
  4. Snap! And i've still not found a wireless charging pad that will fit..
  5. I came from a mkii vrs and the Superb is unsurprisingly slower (but more economical) . I took the view that it's going to be more of a cruiser, and in that regard it's great, far quieter and better riding. Power wise it's fine, and coped well with a boot full of holiday clober and 3 bikes on the back. I've also been pleasantly surprised on the bends, it turns in keenly enough to cause a grumble from the passanger seat. A deciding factor for me was that my son sat in the back of the Superb and declared it to be business class; he wasn't convinced by the octavia in the same way!
  6. I don't know if it applies to the Superb, but my primera had a low screen wash sensor that went off when cornering enthusiastically
  7. Mad ehh?! It's move north a bit and is currently wetting my washing...
  8. There is a voice enhancer option on the head unit that may need turning off. More info here click
  9. I've had the odd drop out with my s10 (android 11),but generally OK. There are quite a few reports of people having issues generally (not just skoda). The usual suggestions are the obvious ones of clearing cache, reinstall AA etc. Sorry, not much help, I know.
  10. To paraphrase a sketch I once heard, Dyson is so synonymous with cleaning its the first brand of Hoover you think of
  11. As it’s from a main dealer you’ll get an MOT warranty, so that’s all good. Price wise, I got my last June and the dealer refused to budge. The best I could do was a pathetic £100 off the service and 0% APR. That was not long after lock down, so things may be better for you now. I’m going to boldly/foolishly say that I don’t think there are any major problem areas, or at least I’ve not encountered anything repeatedly in the forum bar some trim issues and suspension creak. Happy to be corrected though.
  12. Good spot. It looks a nice kit and good option for when (if?) my wireless android auto turns up. I had a quick glance at their web site but couldn't see the Superb one though (octy only for skoda).
  13. I think you can justify a kit kat too! 😁
  14. Corroding centre caps seems to be a standard fit skoda item. Always strikes me as odd, surely the company logo is a top priority for any brand!
  15. Depends what you're used to. I came from a MK II Vrs on 18"s and the Superb on 19" (std suspension) is much more forgiving.
  16. I'm suitably jealous - my primer grey one looks even more drab now. I'll follow the mods with interest...
  17. I was too slow, but was about to say the same. I've got the wet 7 speed and the first couple of pull aways can be a bit snatchy, but OK after that. Far from bad and the rest of the changes are pretty much imperceptible.
  18. I’m not sure if the physics quite work, but could road spray be getting in to the well via a poorly fitting bung and then condensation be forming on the boot floor and dripping in. More likely a leak form above though… I’m currently playing with this (click) for a leak in my LEAF, may be worth a punt around the lights etc
  19. And old thread here (Click ) suggests 150mm, but doesn't specify front to back.
  20. Agreed, I've just found an old brochure and it's down a privacy glass.
  21. On the edges of the rear window there is a black ceramic print with a series of small dots. If the tint is even across them it's tinted glass, if there are small imperfections it's a film. Same logic with the skoda logo along the bottom edge of the door glass.
  22. I didn't say the North West of which country! But fear that my signiture gave me away..
  23. Bummer. Time to find another skoda and see if it works! If you're on the North West feel free to use me!
  24. I wonder if it varies by region, in any case mine also hasn't got one. A hunt around on ebay looks to be in order.
