Front end damage and radiator replacement
Morph replied to Booters's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Took me about 6 hours in total and I class myself as a novice mechanic. Done it using write ups and pics from here and parts diagrams. Condenser costs about £40, new seals £2. -

Hey Tom. I'm interested in the calipers. Are they red and from a mk2 octavia by any chance or from your Fabia? -

Ahh I call it vintage but it was made between 62-76. This is another pic from the tinternet and it's the black wire on the left. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/$(KGrHqV,!hME-Y,Gil)3BPyVD1Qv!!~~60_1.JPG?set_id=880000500F If it is a inteferance suppression, is this what two yellow things are in the picture? Or can I re-solder and heat shrink as everything else is working.
-
Looking to identify this little ceramic type cylindrical thing with a single wire going through it and a red wire wound around it. It was covered in heat shrink and is connected to the neutral to the plug.

All received. Great badges, Thanks.

Thanks, would any coding be required ? Who would do this type of wiring work, an auto electrician?

Have a 57 plate VRS and want to replace the steering wheel, ideally for this http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/378961-citigo-flat-bottom-steering-wheel/ Would someone please advise if this is possible and if so what is needed for it to happen?

Why not these two for £79? http://www.amazon.co.uk/XENARC-BREAKER-UNLIMITED-headlamp-66240XNB-HCB/dp/B00FQ8AVHS

Ended up getting a different named condenser and there were no O-rings with it so the two I ordered came in handy.
-
what colour are the brakes?
-
Thanks. I had seen this and wondered if it meant that they mated together without the need of the o-rings, ordered them just in case as they were only a few quid.
-
Anybody any idea if I will get o-rings with a new Nissens condenser?
-
Done a little research and unable to find the answer but anyway I found out my condenser drier is leaking from the little white plastic nut on top. Is this a spare part as I can see the drier (decissant) is but unable to find the plastic nut?

Anybody any idea if the BT will work with a Nexus?
