Hi guys. Today I had my keys in the ignition with the igniton turned on (engine not running), all doors closed and I heard a alarm/buzzing noise coming from under the bonnett. Any idea's what this is ?

I'am happy with the rate i'm getting but just felt the book or computer needed questioning because one was not right. I appreciate all the factors involved like tyres, Aircon, Weight etc etc. Nice to see that everyone's in the same boat so I can stop worrying but would also like the book and computer to be a bit more realistic. Will try the brimming method and no cruise and see how this ends up, ( just to see what I can get). Thanks for your replys.

The computer. It was a nice day yesterday, good temps not much wind, my tyres are good, have good tread and pressure and I have a K&N filter. I will try it the way you say and see if this gets me better results. Thanks

I have a 2 year old 10000 mile 2.0 ltr VRS PD TDI Estate. Yesterday I reset the computer when driving for 30 miles at 60mph on a mainly flat dual carrigeway, I had the cruise control on and nothing else except the radio and no weight in the car and I averaged 45mpg. The book states that on non urban roads you should get 58mpg but i had to drive at 47mph to get this. What do you guys think, is this acceptable ? :confused:

Second hand car so I didnt specify it but it is a pretty loaded car as it was a demonstrator from Milton Keynes. Oh and yes i meant angle not angel !!!

Cool. Thanks. What about the cornering angel control, how do I know if it has this. Cant say I've been out much in the dark in it as I'am afraid of the dark

Hi all. I have Xenon's fitted to my 57 VRS estate and when I switch them on they seem to start high and then lower themselves. Does this mean that they are self leveling ? and would this also mean they have angel control ?

Yeah thats like the one in the link I posted. Get it from Halfrauds, it may be a couple of quid more expensive but at least you can easily take it back if wrong.

Have used one before on a old Peugeot 405 and it did the job but it wasnt easy, would say you'll be best off spending £20 or £30 and getting the ones availble at halfords. See this Link

Still like my Seat Tolly as it was fully loaded but its now starting to show its age.

Well i'am a Seat convert, well not excatly as i still have it but now have a Octavia Estate VRS 2.0 TDI PD. Hope your all as helpful as the guys on seatcupra.net as im sure you are and I look forward to speaking to some of you over time.
