  1. I've had two generations of Bose Quiet Comfort for many more years than I can remember and been really pleased with their comfort and performance. The current Bluetooth capable ones make using them easier and have impressive range.
  2. But that's not in the wheelbase - remember the A4 has a longitudinal engine but the Octavia transverse so overall length is not relevant.
  3. Isn't the Octavia a longer wheelbase than the A4 - the rear legroom is MUCH greater on the Octavia?
  4. That's usually the low pressure fuel pump priming the fuel system.
  5. Dir the problem only start after swapping wheels and tyres?
  6. Sounds like a wiring diagram would be useful to know where the G65 and air quality sensor connect to?
  7. Hve you checked any fuse(s) that supply both G65 and air quality sensor?
  8. As a Chartered Electrical Engineer I have to agree with @Graham Butcher about safety concerns, in every other area of electrical safety the system is designed so that there has to be two unrelated failures before it becomes unsafe. With plug-in solar using a UK standard 13A there is only a single point failure (in the inverter) for an unplugged 13A plug to become live - so it fails the basic electrical safety requirement. This could easily be corrected by requiring they be fitted with a plug having shielded pins such as an IEC type, and requiring the installation of a mating wall mounted socket. If I were still employed the terms of being a Chartered Engineer would require me to refuse any instruction to install one of these systems while fitted with a UK standard 13A plug.
  9. It might be coding, or even dataset. I suggest we ask @pab567 to join the discussion.
  10. Most people still turn up their noses at a Skoda so thefts of them are very rare - I've owned one since 2005 and parked in some areas of London known for a high incidence of car theft with no issues.
  11. Sounds like the replacement unit is coded for a car without Canton, so you need to adjust the coding using a diagnostic tool such as OBDeleven or VCDS.
  12. It's far more likely to be using PWM as that's used to dim all the other bulbs around the car.
  13. Try the Kopacek bulbs - they are REALLY bright! (And don't cause any unrelated bulb failure warning like some cheap Chinese ones do...)
