I found theese beefier control arm bushes and I'm very interested to replace the stock ones,I found them soft and the reason car tracks with the road inclination too easy. They should fix the noise also. Part number 5Q0 407 183 F

same problem for me too,tracks to the right, is LHD. I managed to solve it just by rotating wheels rear to front for winters (16 inches with brand new wredestein tyres)because they are directional tyres. Switching to summer wheels 18 the tracking coms back and solved it second time by inverting front wheels,non directional Pirelli P7 Because of soft control arm bushes I found the car being very sensitive to road inclination.

I have 18 for summer and 16 for winter. I think the sound insulation is different for Canton option and higher trim levels get better insulation. If I decode my VIN number in skoda erwin in the option list there is "additional sound insulation"

Is additional sound insulation necessary? I found mine to be really quiet and no way I am adding nothing

Yeah,no auto high beam.Fitted new bulbs,what a nightmare,I have the metal clip mounting...such a rubbish design.Much better light

I'm not sure I have automatic high beam,I will try at evening. Btw I'm not happy with xenon bulbs,they are yellowish and not that bright.Ordered new osram classic bulbs and try to fit them later today.

Just fitted the dashcam and found fuse 49 to have power when ingnition on 49 Coil on starter relay, clutch pedal switch. Funny,I have a DSG and works as it shoud.

Solved.Timing belt tensioner was allmost stuck (OE Gates) The oil pump belt was in good condition.

Car has 127k miles and from what I heard is a propper time to renew the oil pump belt also.Pieces came loose and are getting jammed into the strainer. .According to manual is a simple job,oil pan off,loose the pump and not much than that. 1.6 hours job
