  1. https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do erWin is the Electronic Repair and Workshop Information service from Skoda Auto for independent garages, vehicle fleets and all other companies which undertake professional level repairs and servicing of Škoda cars. erWin is also available to private individuals who want to repair their Skoda vehicle themselves. I think you would be wasting your money trying to get the update, it's not in my collection. Not every update is released, and it's not one I have seen.
  2. I have asked mods to move you to Fabia MKII forum, so don't worry. The RHD part number should be as shown here, also it has been replaced (either number second hand should suffice)
  3. I would not recommend sticking on the VW/SEAT firmwares. At the least the skin would be different, though that's not a big issue... but no idea what else has been changed under the hood. Chances of bricking your unit would be high IMHO.
  4. MIB STD2 PQ are designed for vehicles of PQ25/PQ35 platforms and the screen and unit are one piece (located in one housing) MIB STD2 ZR are designed for vehicles of platforms PQ26/PQ27(MQB-A0) and MQB. The screen and the unit are two different devices and are connected by an LVDS cable. Well there we have it! It's not one I have looked at before, and I read a post on here where someone said ZR was Russia (so clearly not correct information)
  5. Probably the flap that controls the mix of hot/cold air is getting stuck? Diagnostic tool will be able to show if one is sticking as it often flags a fault quick.
  6. I will send you a PM in a few moments.
  7. You would need to tag a few names in this post, and see who responds. You are in a little bit of a desert there, and hopefully someone will respond.
  8. None that I can see PQ = I think is Asia region (we don't see many of these software trains around in forum) ZR = Russia irrc I don't think you can swap, they might block the update from loading as it will read the existing software train and reject... I am sure they can be forced in if you take the unit to pieces perhaps.
  9. Ah, well front to me would be headlight washers 😆 Windscreen washers are "different" in my head of course (I accept that both are front choices!) Hopefully the link @Breezy_Pete sent should have you sorted.
  10. D4B802D18D3-1_2_63__66__77__81_kW_TSI_engine.pdf This is the file you are going to want to try and find for timing information, hopefully erwin behaves 🤐 I mainly use VCDS, but I also have ODIS (main dealer tool) I don't do too many car repairs, my own car and helping out others when they need help. Hopefully some people who repair these engines will be able to assist with any further questions, best of luck.
  11. VAG Strikes again, well I will PM you a link to wiring diagram.
  12. I will look for wiring diagram, meanwhile... in the parts program ETKA, there is no sign of your engine code. (partial list, but is in alphabetical order)
  13. TMBKM6NJ3HZ------, FABIA COM AMB TS66/1.2 M5F, 2017, NJ53J4, CJZC, PED, erwin You may have to contact the importer, as erWin are convinced you have that engine, so information will be off. Have you actually checked the engine code that is stamped on the engine itself?
  14. The part numbers need decoding from your VIN, as there are 2x different part number options depending on your bumper it would appear.
  15. Yeah that's normal for that service. Will PM a file link over.
  16. There is firmware 0369 available should you wish to install it.
  17. I am 99.99% sure that there's 0253 version, but you should press and hold Menu or Setup button for 10 seconds to find your Software Train information (this also has the firmware update button)
  18. I shall find a large rock to crawl under... To be fair he did make @Carl248happy as his didn't take the firmware. Glad you're both happy, and the post will help the next person who needs this fix.
  19. It's a shame how it panned out in the end, I think I mentioned before they wouldn't be able to code it, usual "computer says no!" Best of luck in finding the replacement, hopefully if you can get a VIN number it could be checked, I dare say yours was one in a million event. 🤝
  20. You need to find a garage with ODIS Engineering, ODIS Service or locate someone with an aftermarket tool like VAG CAN Pro to flash firmware. There are a few other tools no doubt, but they are the top items.
  21. Well this could be interesting... there exists these 2x flash files 1Z0035156M_DE2_0011.sgo and 1Z0035156M_DE2_0012.sgo But they need to be flashed via the OBD port, so you will need the tools which you most likely won't have.
  22. I feel like I may have said all of this yesterday... Thanks for posting up confirmation.
  23. Odds are broken wire in the rubber grommet/tube between door and frame of car body. Central locking is going mad, and the light is going on/off. Check that area first.
  24. Yes I can send a link, from memory you can update to 8755 version.
