  1. Of the two ports on the sensor, one will be before DPF, and second port is open to atmosphere. Then on other sensor, one goes to after DPF, and second port to atmosphere. That's as far as I recall how my two G450 DPF sensors are hooked up, suspect the G505's are same.
  2. You may wish to find out your software train now to check what is loaded. Then at least that's another choice for you.
  3. Private message, link and destructions sent in about 5 minutes time.
  4. Nope, same size card in adapter in exFAT format, and same firmware 0253 working fine here.

    Welcome John 🤝
  6. I can say there's this update available MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 To MU 1440 version
  7. There's update to 0253 version, will send PM with link.
  8. Not correct picture. Keep Menu button pressed in for 10 seconds.
  9. Please take a picture of your Software Train information, usually you press and hold Setup/Menu button for 10 seconds, this is also correct location for firmware update button.
  10. Gimme 5 mins, and it will be via PM
  11. You won't see, as mentioned you will have earlier version, 0480 is the update available. Let me know if you want it sending.
  12. You should take a picture of your radio. If possible, hold down menu/setup key for 10 seconds and it will tell you a value for Software Train (we can locate update, and also we can tell you what unit you have) exFAT is fine for the format on the card
  13. I would try to get fault codes read, there may have been a short on a wire/loss of signal that made the car go into "SAFE" mode and put the fan on as safety (because it was unable to read temperature?)
  14. You should hold down the Menu/Setup button for 10 seconds to get into Engineering menu, there will be the Software Train MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0468T and you can update to MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T This is also the correct menu for the update of the firmware itself, you will need an SD Card. Message back if the Software Train value is correct, and if you wish to do the update itself.
  15. It might be that the car is not going to sleep now, where it was before. So the ignition off is no longer shutting down the socket and other things. I don't recall it being a coding thing, but can check tomorrow as I have VCDS.
  16. It will be mould/bacteria smell, when operating AC water will condense (so check the AC drains) Check/change cabin filter as mentioned by @roottoot I myself leave AC on all the year round, never get any smells, so might be worth leaving it running. You might want to look at getting some AC cleaning product, and using that. Example here, and read how it is used. https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/autoglym-aircon-sanitizer

    Welcome Marek, looks nice 🙂
  18. This is a rough picture of the part itself, or at least the connector tabs you might want to zoom in on. They appear to have a V shaped clip that need pinching together to release. Not that expensive from main dealer (£6.63 +VAT if I have right part) so probably best to ring/email for a price. Supply your VIN, tell them to look at illustration 947-000, part numbers 45/46 for left/right reflector. Please verify these numbers with dealer as mentioned. 45 & 46 with part number 6V6 xxx yyy are for Hatchback (45) & (46) with part number 6V9 xxx yyy are for Wagon/Avant
  19. Welcome, best get him to start learning the ropes!
  20. Here you go, the part number is 5JJ 601 025K (8Z8) SAVIO 7Jx17 H2 ET46 (8Z8) is colour coded as Diamond Silver Your PR Code on your build sheet for these is V13 And they are called "SAVIO" As an additional bonus, here is the other colour choice for these. Here you go, the part number is 5JJ 601 025F (HA7) SAVIO 7Jx17 H2 ET46 (HA7) is colour coded as Anthracite metallic (grey) The PR Code for these is C7E And they are called "SAVIO" All of the Fabia 2019 (K VIN's) will only have 7Jx17 2018 with J VIN are also only 7Jx17, I guess the literature is off a little you was looking at.
  21. Just as @langers2khas said, odds are there will be a firmware update for infotainment system, so post something up and I can send that along, or someone else can. For software updates to other modules, you need a full VCDS scan ideally, and then I can say what updates exist roughly. Usually not too many as mentioned. You need main dealer tools like ODIS to update the flash files, something most home mechanics won't have, there are a few other tools that can, but cannot name them all.
  22. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/472087-dpf-differential-pressure-sensor-p2456/ There are a few threads if you search forum for P2456, and a few where this occurs after changing timing belt. Can you expand on the details of the car/sensor? Mileage What was the old sensor part number and new part number if changed Do you have VCDS, if so was you able to adapt sensor (not always possible) Can you take a picture of sensor in situ
  23. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/ It might be just as well to locate someone with newer VCDS to scan the car, or weigh up the cost of buying one yourself (at the cost of labour, it could pay for itself very quickly)
  24. Address 01: Engine (J623-DBKA) Labels:. 04L-907-309-V1.clb Part No SW: 04L 906 026 CA HW: 04L 907 309 R Component: R4 1,6L EDC H21 1662 FL_04L906026CA_1662__V001.frf FL_04L906026CA_2023__V001.frf FL_04L906026CA_3126__V001.frf If you was able to scan the car with VCDS or something else that can talk to it, then I could see if it had any updates for engine ECU. The Part No SW tells you the flash filename, and next line tells you the currently loaded version. 04L 906 026 CA at version 1662, I was then able to see there was 3x choices, mine now runs version 3126.
  25. I was going to suggest maybe see if you can locate someone nearby with the latest VCDS version (or buy own perhaps if you plan to stay with VAG group for a few years) at least you can do a scan and also read out some MVB's (Measurement Value Blocks) to see how much soot the car is reporting. A full VCDS scan would also allow someone to see if there's an ECU update out there, could be a fix for the regeneration. Guesswork for now, perhaps report back after you have taken the car for a drive to/from work, hopefully the revs are back to normal.
