Well worth a visit on the bike. Been a couple of times with my mates. Booked a static caravan nearby between us and then you can walk up to watch the racing. Riding the coastal road is great and Giant Causeway is worth a trip. Coleraine has some nice places to eat/drink and there's a hotel nearby that has a tea room with amazing cakes. Tip is book early to get somewhere to stay.

£100 fine I think for no legit plates

Well, not exactly today, I have just bought a new(to me) set of Brembo M4 monoblocks for my Tuono. Full front setup with lines/master cylinder and full rear setup for a bargain £205!!! Can't wait to fit them
-
Xena disc lock always carried under my seat. If I have my rack on then a u lock strapped to it. Something is better than nothing. If they're professional it won't matter it'll be gone, sad but true.

Today I bought some Brembo M4 monoblocks which will then be fitted to my Tuono. Bought for a bargain price and includes the lines and master cylinder. Should set the bike off nicely and be rid of the gold brembos.

Tyres, yes yes, boring thread alert.

Had Pilot Road 2s in the past and loved them. They coped well with a couple of track days, unless you're in the fast group, only time they started moving around was in 35°+ heat travelling at a rather rapid pace in South of France. Not had chance to try the 4s but can only imagine they are even better. I also liked some Avon VPs I had a few years back. -
Ta, nearly missed it.

Yamaha tw 125?

Honda VT500 though the headlight was probably on numerous bikes.

Do it. It's the best bike I've owned for doing everything with panache. South of France, no problem. Upsetting folk on trackdays, love it. Commuting, fun. Mine might have to go this year due to knee injury..... :'(

New Philips X-treme vision bulbs
tuono01 replied to ryan-re's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
+1 on the Philips, just fitted a set to my california and the difference was massive over the standard bulbs. -
We use Atera aero bars with 3 bike carriers and they're very good. Only takes 5 mins to remove even with the bike carriers in place. As for noise they all generate a certain amount of noise it's just something you have to accept. I've just been to Scotland and back with the bike on the rack and didn't notice it at all, maybe I'm use to it. Mpg was late 30s low 40s but then I have a lead foot and 4 in the car.

Is it just me or does that new R1 look like a mutilated Gixxerrrrrrrrrr I'll not be rushing to get one even though it'll be a fantastic ride.

There are plenty about just depends on your budget, but here's a few: Bistro Pierre opp the Victoria Centre, French cuisine (we go there probably couple a times a month) Browns off the top of Maid Marion Way Annies Burgers burger shack in the Lace Market, not been myself yet but comes highly recommended. Anoki for a good ruby murray, again Lace Market, just don't think you usual curry house nonsense. Hope this help a bit.

Went for a ride yesterday, as I went to view a van, Notts to Dorchester and back Beautiful day for riding once off the motorway, some lovely roads there. My ears are still ringing even though I wear ear plugs and this has sent my Tinnitus into overdrive :( . Overall a worthwhile trip as I'm travelling back on Thursday to pick it up(by train), I'm so excited to ringing is worth it Anybody else suffer from Tinnitus from riding bikes?

I have cleared a tank in 60 odd miles on a trackday, though I have managed 140 whilst driving like a granny  Average is about 90/100 with some spirited riding The VTR is quite a capable bike and pleasant to ride but the SP is better if you're a bit of a quicker rider than the average.

If you like the feeling from a v twin then you should try an Italian twin of some variety. Bought my TuonoR on that exact same feeling and at least the Tuono will do more than sound good

I run a set scirocco interlagos on my fl estate. Straight swop, though the fronts stick out a bit further than the neptunes. Can't post a picture as laptop bust!

How about a late Golf R32?
-
Having been to the Ring knowledge is power. Once that Golf was past the Atom you could see the increase in speed and good lines through the corners. I'll never forget my first visit and being past by a pair of GT3s like I was at a standstill Problem with it now is the price, 2 years ago it was 22 euros a lap  now I've heard it's 27!!!!!

Where was it? (just seen it on the second pic!) Not done a track day for about 2 years now, last one was Pembrey.
