  1. That looks fantastic. Great colour choice and spec.
  2. Different markets/regions require different settings/items depending on legislation. So, everything is built into the vehicle but only region dependent items are activated. Yes, you’ll be able to activate the rear DRLs with the appropriate software and hardware.
  3. I’m not sure how using a hair dryer will work long term anyway. You’re heating the air, which then cools and will...well, condense on the lens.
  4. Every single car I’ve owned with discs at the rear has done this.
  5. Nice. Not a fan of the vRS wheel caps though. I don’t even like them on actual vRS models.
  6. I’d pick whichever has the spec you want. Choosing a car to save £100 a year on tax when you’re going to lose thousands in depreciation has never made sense to me.
  7. Octavia 5 minus 1 doesn’t have the same ring to it.
  8. 16/66 should be pre-facelift if memory serves. They came with halogens as standard and xenons as an option. Facelift models (17+) came with LEDs.
  9. The short answer is, misting is normal. Water droplets are not. That’s when you go do the dealer.
  10. Grey looks good on the Mk4. I wasn’t really a fan on the Mk3.
  11. That ran through my head as well. 1st owner, dealer perhaps (demo) but why has the second owner punted it on. Could be nothing, could be something.
  12. WRT your first point, I believe more items being in packs is due to emissions testing. Having items in packs means you only need to test a handful of configurations of the car for emissions. If everything was á la carte the number of possible combinations to test could run into the hundreds.
  13. I’ve never used one, nor felt the need for one either. I’m in the central belt.
  14. Why is that being flagged in an MOT?
  15. I think so. The idea is you use Siri to control the phone. The button should work for answering and ending calls though. I think that’s correct anyway. I rarely make calls in the car so memory is a little fuzzy.
  16. I’m sure dealers were quoting less than that a few years ago. Might be worth asking.
  17. The storage location is under the passenger seat. I’d check there first to see if you have in fact got one but don’t know about it.
  18. The Skoda one is perfectly fine IMO. I use it a lot. Not during strong winds mind. I don’t think any umbrella of that size will be any use in anything over a light breeze.
  19. Actual LOL at managing to shoehorn a MPG post into a thread about indicators. Well done, well done.
  20. Its and LED module, not a bulb(s). No help with getting it off but just an FYI before you take the front end off for potentially nothing.
  21. They have some proper guff wheel options on the continent. Certainly a good move by Skoda UK to only offer the 19”s.
  22. I feel like I’m missing absolutely nothing by not having any of these apps, after reading all of that.
  23. I suggest people just save themselves 3min 16sec and skip the start up video. There’s nothing to really hear.
  24. Having had 2 full child seats in the rear in days gone by, I’ve no idea how anyone is securely fitting 3 or 2 plus an adult in the middle. The car isn’t wide enough.
  25. It won’t be doing anything to the suspension unless you have Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).
