  1. Car manufacturers have no interest in having queues of customers asking for their dials to be recalibrated because of the differences between them and the GPS info. That’s why it’s not displayed.
  2. Looks like it’s been jacked up an extra 64mm as well. Jeez.
  3. Given that it seems to be a struggle for a large number of motorists to even inflate tyres correctly, having the ability to change the tyre spec in the infotainment seems a big ask.
  4. The facelift LEDs don’t move left and right like the pre-facelift xenons.
  5. Youll need to pardon my ignorance here. I thought these PHEVs worked by deciding for you, which mode to operate in depending on a whole raft of criteria? The option to be electric only or petrol only wasn’t possible? I’m thinking I may be wrong in my assumptions?
  6. I think you need to be careful here that you don’t shoot yourself in the foot. Who changed the belt 3 times and how do you know that? Have Skoda been involved in any past work with this issue?
  7. Skoda made the Vega in 18" as an OEM wheel, so just buy that. Was on the Octavia SportLine and Fabia from memory.
  8. Fog lights as DRL is here:
  9. I disagree. I don’t speak French and understood perfectly what the standard spec was and what the options were. What did you find misleading about it?
  10. Not answering your question but, if your vRS is a petrol the 16” wheel won’t fit over the brakes.
  11. Can’t really blame Skoda and the specs in this case. What was ordered was delivered, to the letter.
  12. In all likelihood the button was being pressed in your pocket. It’s a pretty common discussion on here (in other sections) about windows all rolling down by themselves for the same reason, button being held down in a pocket.
  13. French configurator shows Ambition trim not having fog lights. They’re a €290 or €400 option, depending on whether you want the cornering function. The video posted in the first post isn’t French either, judging by the price shown. You need to look at the specification to your market. Just because it has the same name, doesn’t mean the equipment will be the same.
  14. Pretty sure only the official OBDeleven dongle works with OBDeleven.
  15. It’s going to be like the M25 at rush hour after lockdown. Everyone seems to be planning it. I’m waiting. I want to actually drive it, not get stuck 20 cars deep behind a motor home.
  16. The OP means they’re warm white, not ice white next to the other LEDs. Not that they’re literally yellow, like old school fog lights.
  17. Looks great in that colour. I find the rear of the estate a little awkward looking in lighter colours. This works well though.
  18. I enquired about a vRS the other day. 19 week lead time was quoted. So yeah, sounds right.
  19. Just dipping in to make a quick point in defence of OBDeleven. I would say all of the people I’ve seen have issues, used the one touch apps. The trouble is coming about because people won’t take the time to learn how to make changes properly. It’s a perfectly safe tool if you learn how to use it. Just like VCDS. That’s all I have to offer. Juts felt compelled to defend it a bit
  20. I’d suggest a better use of time would be just leaning how to do these changes yourself. None of the ones you’ve listed are particularly difficult to achieve. Ditch the one touch apps.
  21. Im guessing here, as I’m no VCDS expert (but I get by) but it may be that there is no direct translation and that’s why it remains in German. There has been a number of times I have typed a phrase into Google Translate from OBDeleven and the English translation doesn’t really make sense. It is enough to work out what’s what though. Like I said. That’s purely my guess. It’s not based on any actual fact.
  22. Your MPG alarm must’ve been going haywire when this was created. Are you copying and pasting the same paragraph all the time btw?
  23. Pads done every 25K? Are you driving with your left foot on the brake pedal?
