  1. Just continues to blow out warm air...only faster 😂.
  2. Cool, somewhere to start. Thanks. I did have in my mind that a regas may be the first thing to try. Being the cheapest solution first..?
  3. O..k.. So having run the live data in OBDeleven, the compressor seems to be working. You can see the load changing (and also hear it). Refrigerant pressure is c.6 Bar. The only think I could see that was odd was when changing the temperature using the dials, OBDeleven shows no change in specified temperature. Fan intensity does change but the temperature does not. The two circled values never change from what’s shown, no matter what temperature I specified using the climate controls.
  4. Maybe. I was under the impression it’s a sealed unit and shouldn’t need topping up. And if it does, I have an issue with it all being sealed up.
  5. Hi. So, the car is away in for a service at the end of this month and I’ll probably highlight this issue then but thought I may as well use this resource before hand. So, the issue. The air con is never getting cold. I’d say depending on the outside temperature that the drivers side sometimes is able to cool slightly better than the passenger side but neither are in any way, cold. What are we thinking the issue may be? Some additional details… Mk3 vRS TSI 2017 (FL) 40K miles Silica bag in coolant that has not burst (will be removing this weekend) Have tried the AC calibration using the dashboard button combination Not yet done an OBDeleven to see if any errors flag Driving data on the instrument cluster would imply the AC is running in consumer items So, with all that any ideas? TIA
  6. What the OP described doesn’t sound like the variable boot floor to me.
  7. No door dings parking in a space that size!
  8. I hate when manufacturers use names for trim levels. I don’t know what that means. I know what S, SE, SEL, LX mean 😂
  9. I’d personally opt for OBDeleven Pro. Do the adaptations and long coding yourself. It’s a more polished product as well IMO. I’ve used mine on a Fabia CE in the past with no issues.
  10. Entire rear light cluster indicating? What even is that..? I’m suspecting that it, along with orange DRL, are things that come under “Just because you can doesn’t mean you should”. Oh, the permanently disable start/stop. Did VAG not put an end to that in later models?
  11. OP also said they had a Yeti. And it happened in that.
  12. Did Yeti’s come with Front Assist? That’s the only part to this that is stopping me from throwing that in as the reason...
  13. Tuning those guff messages off is the solution.
  14. Just repeating above basically. Can’t say I’ve ever seen something for the Mk3. Using an LED replacement lamp seems to be as far as you can go with this.

Not sure about never. Confidence comes back in time. When I got my current Mk3 in 2017, it was back in the dealer with an EML displaying after on 40 miles. After a few days, I got it back and some 39,900 miles later it’s never missed another beat.
  16. The bit I was saying is incorrect was the Roman numeral part. You’ve stylised it as iV, which isn’t correct. They’re capitalised. So IV. It is a bit cumbersome to read, yes. Saying it though is fine as you say what the number is, you don’t read the letters out. Much like if you read a clock. You’d say “It’s 20 past 3”, not “It’s 20 past III”. I’ve also seen people on here using the number 1 instead of the letter I, which is just beyond wrong. Mk111 is mark one hundred and eleven, not mark 3. Anyway, lesson over 😂
  17. It does. The above explanation isn’t correct.
  18. No, it’s for all Mk4 models.
  19. Sure. I felt there was an implication that the vast majority were rejected. I’m just saying they won’t be.
  20. Demos, courtesy cars and sales team vehicles.
  21. Arctic Silver is nice. Energy Blue is horrendous. I don’t like it on any of the models.
  22. The PS4 I got fitted last year were £99 each; fitted. Think they still are on black circles. I wouldn’t call that expensive.
  23. That is what it’s for. It features on several other models as well.
