Havent we had this before on MY builds ? I thought we had this with the vRS going to the black pack where some in the system got it and some did not even if they were ordered prior to the MY change - it seemed to be random at the time. Just thought i'd add my pennys worth

Thanks the replies. I am very impressed with my vRS and when the summer is over I will think of changing it in early 2014 (finances allowing) but didnt want to buy another one if the Mark 3 is just around the corner. If not firm dates from Skoda then might get a new vRS estate a it is a good car and maybe should have had it first time round due to being just that bit bigger. If anyone knows anything firm on the Mark 3 let us know. I did do a bit more trawling and it appears the Mark 3 should appear in 2014 at some point but no mention anywhere of a new vRS.....

Hi guys, have not been on for a bit due to work and familty commitments. Really enjoy my vRS just wondered if any idea when the Mark 3 will appear (presume vRs follows 3 - 6 months later). Had a quick look through the forums and the net in general and lots of mock up shots of what the Fabia 3 might look like but not definate details. Secondly if we are still 2 - 3 years away from this new model I may consider ordering another vRS at the end of the year but switch to the estate just to get a bit more room in the back for the kids and all the stuff that goes with them. I presume estate owners are as (if not more) satisfied with there vRS estates ? Cheers

Had my 2nd year service hear last week. Bought my car out of area and 1st year serviced in in Worthing Sussex this year it needed to be close to home and this was the nearest dealer from a distance perspective. Booked in 3 weeks in advance as I wanted the car to be seen early whilst I wait. They open at 7 am and car was ready at 8.40 am. Price was within £ 5 of quoted rate and they let me use my own oil as had bought 4 litres of Castrol Edge 5w -30 although they did state this was not their normal policy. Price was £ 189.44. Car was cleaned and everything good. The garage itsleft is rather old style and 'quaint' to some extent. They explained they are a a Skoda service and repair centre and sell Second hand Skodas but dont actually sell new Skoda's - they can get them but its an arranagement with another local dealer. I found the whole experience very good, people very knowledgable and the job was done as promised - cant fault anything and would use again. Would suggest any others in the area give them a ring. They had a lot of parts and stock of many items and quite a few deals going on, on various bits and pieces. If I still have the Fabia next year for the 3rd year service and MOT they will get the work.

5w-30/5w-40 told by my dealer that either is acceptable although 5w-40 better for people doing higher mileage. Mine is going in this week for 2nd year service, only got 7,000 on the clock (i have owned since new) and I have put 1 litre of top ups in dribs and drabs between day 1 and the second year service. I guess (luckily) i have a good one.

Hopefully the vRS will appear at launch. My car is 2 years old and I try to change at 3 years (finances and circumstances allowing of course) as I feel you get a decent bit of value out the car to put towards the next one. I have never owned a Skoda and must say the vRS ticks all the boxes for me 2 years into it and would look at a new one (if out) first before deciding to look elsewhere.

When I ordered mine Grey was not a colour for the vRS. I know the roofs are only linked to certain colours. At the end of the day if the computer wont accept the order I guess thats the boss. Interesting to know how you get on.

Well done, now enjoy the wait. Sorry to say I agree with others, i had the front seat under storage on my vRS and to be honest its a waste of time/money as space is tiny. Hope you enjoy the car when it comes.

What details are you after - I replaced all the interior bulbs with LED ones (although currently got 2 normal ones back in as 2 of the LEDS failed (again)). Let me know what else you need. Might remove that from my sig !
