Securing dog crates in 7 seat Kodiaq
Can you not reach the 4 boot corner tie down loops? Or do they not exist any more? I'm not into dog cages, but did secure an engine on some boards using the 4 tie down loops with cross over straps.. Mind you, my seats were folded and the loops were accessible.

iPod connection
When I found that my old iPods (3 generations) wouldn’t work in the car any more, I simply moved to an old iPhone5, dedicated to holding music without using it as a phone. Old phones are cheap if you don’t already have one lying around. My normal phone doesn’t have space for music (my choice), but I have discovered internet Radio Paradise and I happily cache bundles of their music (choice of Main, Rock or Mellow mix) to play in car at my leisure. I certainly don’t have a data plan that would let me stream live music on the road. ps - I also use an SD card occasionally to top up my jukebox bundle

Wipers
I fitted them to check today. 650 & 450 mm. 25..1/2” & 17.3/4” in old money. An inch longer on RHS. They fitted and wiped ok. LH is shorter of course, but quite satisfactory. Gives more options and price difference is significant.

Nope. No adjustment needed.

Which towbar?
I think he was.

Amazed to find Bosch A864S on Amazon under £18 while Euro Car Parts are £55 and Halfords are same for own brand blades. Guess which ones I re-ordered?

After a mere 4,100 miles I’m fed up with mine squeaking despite much cleaning of screen and blades. So I’ll be fitting my spare Bosch blades this weekend. Front AP24U Right 650mm AP21U Left 450mm A331H Rear Or Bosch A864S - Polo blades are longer but were cheaper ps - our Polo also needed new Bosch blades after only 4,000 miles because the OEM blades dragged and squeaked so much

There’s no excuse for kerbing wheels. I’ve never found the seat to be a factor when parking- Towbar question plus alloy wheel insurance?
Nope. I would guess there’s a lot of Small Print that lets the insurance company wriggle out of most claims.- Map Update
That was pretty painless. Not that I can see a difference yet.- Is tow bar prep needed?
Me too. No regrets. Different extras.- About to order. Need help!
There you go then. I can't imagine the above "discussion" helped very much. Do you regret asking?- About to order. Need help!
My first Kodiaq survived 3 years and 30,000 miles and not a penny had to be spent on “DPF Maintenance”. Haven’t maintained a DPF on any previous cars either. I’m expecting current car to survive similarly. Fair enough, I don’t do a 3 mile daily commute. The question on fuel saving is down to simple arithmetic for the OP to answer. And “trade in value” is a non-issue on lease cars w.r.t. Petrol vs. Diesel. Final value is a done-deal (PCP) or non-existent (PCH).- Travel assist or adaptive cruise control
Gee, I’m glad that’s your problem not mine. I love my standard cruise control. All day, every day, no questions asked.- Kodiaq AC wont turn off
If it wasn’t the radiator fan - very common for that fan to run on after switching off - was it the Residual Heat button causing the ventilation fan to run on after switching off? Button G.- How to prevent windshield fogging up?
A very common misconception that AC is for cooling only. If you’ve read all the above, you’ll get the idea that most folk leave AC on All The Time. When everything is working properly you only have to tweak the temperature button occasionally and/or dial up the fan speed on really wet, steamy days or when carrying lots of people. Two little adjustments I make frequently and will be so ****ed off when I have to fumble my way through a touch screen to do so. AKA “progress”.- Karoq Auto Engine Stop / Re - Start

They’re brilliant. Next question?- Skoda Enyaq
And that sums it up. The charging “network” is nowhere close to meeting the needs of the end users in the real world. I have to take someone to Aberdeen next week. Drop off. Return home. What a ****in’ nonsense that trip would be in an electric car compared with a simple 4+ hours, 260 mile round trip without stopping. Let’s come back to leccy cars in a few years.- Skoda Enyaq
One of the largest charging hubs in the country has opened in Falkirk football club car park. Doesn’t get more central. And only 2 miles from me. Maybe one day . . . . .- Skoda Enyaq
But I want/need to do 200+ miles from A to B without worrying about whether I can get plugged in (stress) and then being totally ****ed off at having to kill an hour waiting for enough juice to complete my journey. Then go through it all again when I want to return from B to A. I think we’ve got a long way to go before we can ALL throw away our horrible dirty IC engined contraptions. As for the motor bike world . . . . . .- 2021 Kodiaq RS facelift spied
Scrolling winkers just don’t turn me on at all And I hate fake tail pipes on any car. And there’s an awful lot about.- Kodiaq mats
As others have said, the OEM Skoda mats are very good. Tough. Fit well. And I have a spare set - Please help me decide between these 2 options
