  1. Do you have the brand and model number? Samsung and some other Smart TVs that use Android OS allow you to install a VPN and other Apps such as iPlayer, All4, ITV Hub etc etc. If it's HDMI then there's various modules you can connect such as Amazon Firestick or TV Boxes.
  2. Hence John's advice regarding a VPN.
  3. It was on ITV1 on Monday. It's available on ITV Hub https://www.itv.com/hub/oprah-with-meghan-and-harry/10a1332a0001

  7. Shouldn't be an issue AFAIK. I've swapped old BT routers on the same line when I was doing some up/ down tests when BT claimed their latest router was better/ faster etc and found no difference using Ookla's speed test tool. I'm always hardwired though rather than via WLAN in case that makes a difference. (Ex Openreach/ BT)
  8. I've just been watching Our Perfect Planet on catch up. Episode one was a real eye opener. A 1% increase in temperature increases ****e weather by 7%. I thought I was 'climate aware' but the importance of plankton and phytoplankton blew my mind. Great to see people planting so many tree seeds in Africa. I'll be adding a few more trees to help in my small way to hopefully avert a climate disaster. Our Perfect Planet is available on BBC iPlayer.
  9. I just looked on the GLS (Czech) site at the package cost calculator tool and Ireland was listed but UK isn't. No idea what's going on. https://gls-group.eu/CZ/cs/prilezitostna-preprava/kalkulacka
  10. GLS are pretty crap IMHO - had issues with them before so avoid them now if I can. As for Superskoda, the customer service seems to be hit n miss. I've seen positive and negative reviews on here over the years. Add to that as mac11irl mentioned, the B word is another added benefit and some freight across the Channel/ North Sea is being prioritised and other freight less so. And yeah, the Pandemic. Is it worth trying to cancel, get a refund and then clarify with Superskoda their position and take it from there?
  11. I was reading the first post but didn't check who it was by. I got to the bit about 'we have shutters here in Germany' and thought 'his English is really good' (though not uncommon) and then saw who it was by
  12. Nah you're alright. We've had seven and soon looking at an eighth.
  13. I must have managed to avoid yesterday aft/ eve then somehow. It was certainly a global PITA and showed how dependent a lot of people have become on Googles services. I saw lots of people asking about other online doc sharing platforms as an alternative. Who knows if they'll be as robust as G's services?
  14. That was Monday unless there was another outage yesterday? Loads of people on the Twittersphere who were in the middle of editing docs lost access. It was the whole range of Google services; I couldn't access my pics or drive.
  15. Careful now, mac. Marking unhelpful posts as unhelpful is considered bullying by @shyVRS245
  16. Just a note, the OP is from Panama which is a Spanish speaking country so there may have been something lost in translation or the OP may not have found the most appropriate way to put his/ her points across. I can do that myself and English is my first language
  17. Do you have the A/C on during winter months as that really helps with keeping the screen clear during cold wet months. Also, are you a smoker as nicotine leaves a film on the glass if you smoke in the car. I know that from personal experience and you can see it when you use window cleaner with a white paper towel. RainX do a product to coat the glass on the inside to prevent misting so that may also help.
  18. Just seen this topic. Germany have had the E suffix for plug-ins since 2015. Less chance of fraud than buying a green sticker off flea-bay. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Germany#:~:text=Plug-in electric vehicles.&text=The special licence plate adds, apply for the special licence.
  19. Often left unattended at the roadside Mind you, 40Kph max towing limit I think so a swift getaway is unlikely without a flat-bed
  20. I was thinking of visiting some of the Auf Wiedersehen, Pet locations next year as I'm close to where it was mostly filmed (It wasn't Düsseldorf) I pass this block on a daily basis Where the blue mobile hut is is now a row of shops. The flats are on a busy 4 way junction.
  21. Hei and welcome :-)

With this car, the two founders continued on from their successful production of bicycles and motorbikes 115 years ago and at the same time laid the foundation for future automobile production at the Mladá Boleslav site. Since that time, the Czech car manufacturer’s portfolio has been characterised by innovative vehicles and technologies. ŠKODA currently produces ten model series and is pursuing its transition from a traditional car manufacturer to a ‘Simply Clever company for the best mobility solutions’. 23. I *think* it can still potentially go ahead but you'll need to keep to the rule of six as West Meon is in tier 2 Tier 2 Restrictions West Meon and the whole of Hampshire will enter Tier 2 when the national lockdown finishes on 2nd December 2020. This means that we will have to comply with the following rules until further notice: You must not socialise with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble in any indoor setting, whether at home or in a public place. You must not socialise in a group of more than 6 people outside, including in a garden or a public space – this is called the ‘rule of 6’. Businesses and venues can continue to operate, in a COVID-Secure manner, other than those which remain closed by law, such as nightclubs. Pubs and bars must close, unless operating as restaurants. Hospitality venues can only serve alcohol with substantial meals. Hospitality businesses selling food or drink for consumption on their premises are required to: provide table service only, in premises which sell alcohol close between 11pm and 5am (hospitality venues in airports, ports, transport services and motorway service areas are exempt) stop taking orders after 10pm http://www.westmeonpc.org.uk/community/west-meon-parish-council-13628/coronavirus---covid-19/
  24. Awesome and welcome back. Looks like December 2020 has been a bit of a bummer so far for you. Love the MkI and miss mine still. Pretty easy to work on and if you need any workshop PDF's to help I know a chap
  25. If the headlight adjuster motor is anything like the MkI type, then sometimes the ball part of the motor can get brittle and snap off inside the socket part that moves the reflector up and down. Had it myself once; the ball part was a PITA to get out. The pic below will help explain. It's like a shoulder joint - the ball part I mean is white on the left.
