If the headlight adjuster motor is anything like the MkI type, then sometimes the ball part of the motor can get brittle and snap off inside the socket part that moves the reflector up and down. Had it myself once; the ball part was a PITA to get out. The pic below will help explain. It's like a shoulder joint - the ball part I mean is white on the left.

What's also on the VIN is where it was built e.g. MB is Mladea Boleslav in the Czech Republic. Second and third letters after the T.

Full fat FTTP shouldn't really have any contention problems nowadays but to avoid the possibility a business line/ contract would be better but pricey. If you're a home user then there's very little gain for the financial pain apart from maybe getting faults sorted quicker.

Where I am, a small town of 26,000 people, there's 14 or 15 supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka, Real and Kaufland) but none have a petrol station. I did a count and there's 9 Tankstelle. Jet, Aral X 2, Shell X 2 and four indies. One nearby Famila has a petrol station but the other local Famila's don't. Do they have more supermarkets with petrol stations down your way, Phil?

I'm using an 11 year old Microsoft Digital Media 3000 so that's probably of no help but it's been a great keyboard. I actually dismantled it a couple of months ago, vacuumed the innards and then washed the keyboard part and the silicone part in the sink in soapy water. The rest was given a wipe over with almost pure alcohol and it's come up like new. I've also got a German layout Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 which I've yet to dismantle but is quieter and was fairly cheap (€12) I tend to go for things which can be torn down rather than sealed unit stuff.

It usually comes in an aerosol can. Turn the engine and A/C on in Recirculate mode, set to come out of the dash flaps and floor (NOT front screen), get out of the car, place canister in the rear (on the transmission tunnel or in the rear centre cup holder, activate, close all doors and remain outside the car while the A/C 'inhales and exhales' the disinfectant or A/C freshener for ~ 10 minutes. If you're in Croatia you may have Sonax or Nigrin products. Either will do.

I watched the Sports Cars one on Quest; not too bad and an unsurprising winner. I mean, they've been constantly refining and tuning it since the 60's. I did see an ad on Quest during it for a prog called Motor Pickers which just looks like a rehash of the ITV car show from a few years ago (I forget the title now) even down to chalking the price on the windscreens. Premise; person wants used car, presenter offers three or four used cars, person has to choose a winner.
