  1. how about his one if you are thinking of a rebuild? https://www.gumtree.com/p/skoda/2011-skoda-octavia-2.0-tfsi-200bhp-vrs.-82000-miles/1395909408
  2. https://www.motorreviewer.com/engine.php?engine_id=119 Hopefully that should clear things up. I understand S3 had the CDL engine from 2009 which is a TFSI EA113
  3. I asked Pip from the Fuel Injector Clinic / R-Tech about them and he said the TFSI injectors wouldn't fit a TSI. Also I got a response from Alex Kerr (AKS Tuning) stating that the GEN3 EA888 TSI injectors would fit. That made sense to me as if you check the Bartek website (RMTG aswell) they have 2 sets of uprated injectors, one for the EA113 TFSI and the other for EA888 TSI.
  4. i thought the standard K04 will max out 360 - 380bhp unless its a hybrid of course
  5. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/445711349900461 The full spec is in the advert. It was a TSI and manual, I just had the turbo rebuilt in November by AET to the 370 hybrid spec, would have easily got 400bhp after a remap i think. The engine in your new one is a TSI (EA888) not TFSI (EA113), apologises if I'm trying to tell you stuff you already know. As for S3 injectors if its from an 8P/TFSI then they wont fit. So far I heard and was going to test this theory out, the Mk7/7.5 Golf R/ EA888 Gen 3 injectors should fit - I was planning in buying some 2nd hands from ebay and getting them cleaned and resealed. The current injectors in the CCZA engine max out at around 370bhp.
  6. I just sold my MK2 VRS, probably cheaper than I should have. Are you going for a K04 conversion or K04 Hybrid?
  7. Did anyone from the forum buy this when it was up for sale last year?
  8. Nice! I saw it being advertised for a while, hope you got it for a good price.
  9. I previous had the B12 kit (B8 yellow dampers with Eibach sportline springs), found them firm great handling but on rough surfaces they were unforgiving! The dampers were started to leak and I replaced them with the B8 Comfort (green in colour) which i imported from Germany. Much better on bumpy/rough roads. Ive paired it with Eibach ARB's and Whiteline rear drop links. Doesnt help that the car is full polybushed aswell! However its great for handling.
  10. Just for comparison, these guys retrofit it: https://www.vw-retrofit.co.uk/product/skoda-octavia-virtual-cockpit-supply-and-fit/
  11. I had mines replaced recently,my care is 12 years old and the sump had corroded. £45 is a great price! I had mines done and the mechanic charged £95 for the sump alone.
  12. I've been running the like this for over 4 years and its not caused an issue, its just annoying! I notice it more in 4th gear so I stay in 3rd to the redline :)
  13. Do you ever get a sensation as if the throttle pedal is withholding /fighting back when you are in that rev range? I completely agree, it pulls like a train with no real issues. What we have is an issue which affects a small percentage of the CCZ engine. I'm very tempted to go for a Mk3 because of the GEN3 TSI
  14. It's underneath/behind the fuel rail. I'm planning to get a remap and a walnut blast/injector clean done by R-Tech at some point when they can slot me in, maybe Nikki work his magic. Maybe it's just a characteristic of the engine. The only part which doesn't usually gets changed when tuning stage 2+ are the injectors as uprated ones are very expensive compared to other TSI engines, usually £800 - £1000+.
  15. What about the Fuel Return Valve? I'm going to change this and see if it makes a difference. https://www.awesomegti.com/search.php?search_query=rs4 fuel return valve&section=content
  16. So I have this issue from 2500rpm to about 3000rpm. Its like a flat spot. My car has K04 Turbo running at 345bhp. It was noticeable when my dv wasn't working so I upgrade to gfb dv+. Still have the issue but not as prominent. Ive started using Millers Petrol Max aswell and that's helped a little.
  17. Hopefully this useful! Most of the vinration/chatter in my car is down to the dogbone insert which installed a few weeks ago. VID_20201130_132541.mp4
  18. lol I would love to do it myself however unfortuanately I'm not gifted with much spare time due to a not so understanding wife!
  19. For stage 2+. Ive got a K04 conversion sitting at 345bhp. I had to get the turbo rebuilt so i push the spec to a 380bhp which should be good enough to push 400bhp. Which i believe the standard injectors should be able to handle.
  20. The GEN 1 EA888 TSI (CDL, BYK etc) can take the S3 injectors but the GEN 2 EA888 (CCZA, CCZB etc..) can not. The cheapest I've seen a set of 4 uprated injectors is 700 euros, they are usually at 1000 euros+.
  21. Well done! How much did it cost for the injector clean? Did they change the seals aswell? Too bad the uprated injectors for the CCZ engine are so expensive.
  22. NP, I do it tomorrow, was suppose to do it today for another member but never got a chance too.
  23. I'm running Sachs performance clutch with a SMFW and to me it's like running a stock clutch.
  24. Strange I've never experienced it unless as the car had it when I bought maybe I've not noticed it! I changed it to a SMFW as I could hear a knocking with DMFW and the clutch was slipping. Happy to take a audio or video send it to you to check it out. The only change I've noticed is with the dog bone insert. I went for the power clutch which not is only rated to 550 nm, the clutch pedal feels like stock and is great for a daily driver. The organic/race one is rated at 800nm and the pedal would be heavy.
