  1. Please share! I had to take the battery out and push a rod through the bulkhead grommet and then on the inside i had to move it around to get below the dashboard so i could attach the wire to take to the engine bay.
  2. Yes, 280, I've got a build thread in the Projects forum. Top service received from JBS so far, their advice has been very honest so far.
  3. Revo is very well established across the MQB platform so it would my preference or Unicorn Development in Stockport. However that said the Skoda Superb ECU file structure is different to the Golf R in terms of mapping the air/fuel ratios and not many tuners have tuned them. Im currently getting a stage 3 tuned done by JBS in Chesterfield who have successfully tuned one before. There is also Ecotune and MRC. As its stage 1 i think all the flash files are going to pretty much the same!
  4. Not Anti Roll bars. KCA316 Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit - Front Wishbone - complete in aluminium housing for Audi Seat VW multiple fitments – Whiteline Performance UK (ukwhitelineperformance.com)
  5. 🤣 Not you aswell i.e. alloys! In recent weeks I've done a lot extensive research in finding a tuner, initally I was going to go to Devil Developments who are development partners with Littco however they've never tuned a Superb before and from what I've been told its a tricky ECU to tune and It may be easier to covert it to a Golf R ECU software to do so. The things that put me off DD was that it would be a 4 hour trip each way to drop/pick up the car, they needed for a week and they've never done a Superb. So far in the UK, I've only known 2 tuner who've successfully tuned a MK3, VRS Performance who tuned Darth and it wasnt Ecotune as it was lead to believe and JBS Auto design - Both tuners are about 2 hours one way I spoke to both tuner and decided on JBS as they were open and honest and didn't try to up sell me anything! I even spoke to MRC but after speaking to the Admin person she put me off and also they have soem sort of issue tuning Littco Turbos. Also realised how much misinformation is spread and there are loads of "happy" dyno figures being blasted about. At one point I was even going to change the turbo to a TTV4 or a Venom550 but couldnt justify the expensive for the gains. To achieve the power the L500 will need to be ran at 2.1bar!
  6. Yes I've started a thread in the Projects folder, "Homage to Darth!". I haven't updated it for a while as I've had a strings of misfortunes and loads of additional costs! It's finally going for a Stage 3 from a proper tuner on the 6th December.
  7. Agreed! After spending a small fortune getting to stage 3, I would would stage 1 is ample for most people and gives the best value for money. IS20/38 do have weaknesses and if it fails then thats point to consider any upgrades.
  8. Why not go for a TVS ECU & TCU tune instead of REVO if its more cost effective? Their TCU tune is 2nd to none. Also in my recent ventures in concsidering turbo upgrades, its become apparent that the REVO ETR V1 and the Racingline OEM Turbo are a rebadged/larger exhaust housing Turbo Technics V4.
  9. I stupidly purchased non-void engine and transmission mount and the vibration was horrendous under 2k rpm. So reverted back to the standards one and I bought this arm for a fraction of the branded ones and added in a powerflex dogbone insert which does increase NVM slightly. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10000128124456.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.7b084fb8eqsrfR&algo_pvid=355a47e7-6049-445d-83dc-f9e94adc5596&algo_exp_id=355a47e7-6049-445d-83dc-f9e94adc5596-0&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"20000000124731992"} I even increase the idling rpm that made a slight difference. If you have ODB11 then its very simple to do. I think the Revo engine and transmission mount are meant to be slightly harder the stock with a slight increase NVM however based on feedback the best ones are Superpro or BFI but they are stupidly expensive! I may try the 034 Motorsport ones from Awesome for c £300.
  10. My wife's car is a R55 Cooper S Clubman and I completely understand the driver's experience. Even though its cost a small fortune to get things repaired, its fantastic wee car as its just fun and rewarding to drive. I tend to use it locally or for a B road blast, keeping the Superb for long distances as much as possible.
  11. That's what I was just thinking! Maybe get a a bores cope camera scan done to check the state of the cylinders/pistons. Also have you done any modifications?
  12. Tony, if i find myself around your way I'll give you a shout as I may have a meeting in MK in the next few weeks
  13. Lol Sorry! I was waiting for you and when I never heard back I thought you had reconsidered! Let me know if you are selling your wheels! 😁 Yeah Unicorn were on top of the list however I've decided to take it to Devil Developments to get sorted in 2 weeks.
  14. Mines are wound up to the max aswell so its not too low!
  15. Yeap it's a painful blow, still awaiting an outcome with my complaint with the Council contractors! I have some more pics of the exhaust once its been taken, ill upload them soon. Hats off to the Trackslag, that is a quality downpipe! The new exhaust is a full custom one just to save time!
  16. Have you got them installed yet?
  17. not sure if this helps but I'll in Glasgow at the end of month and could bring my laptop and vcds cable to sort it. I did the basic settings within 2 minutes after reading it on the obd11 forum or go back to the Indy and get them to do it via the control module, I can send over the steps, max they should charge is an hours labour at most!
  18. Happy to help out anyone in the midlands.
  19. So my range was short aswell and I've just used OBD11 and activated basic settings in the control module and that has seems to have worked!
  20. Can confirm that the range back to normal, wasn't too sure if they were too high however no has flashed me yet so I'm assuming its ok!

  23. Very nice! One of the best coil overs, I would slight better than my B16's! The best one I would say for ride comfort are the KW V3
  24. It's a CJXA. The only other thing it could be due to a poor remap?
