Can't believe I missed this thread! Amazing work and thank you for sharing. I'm currently undertaking my own Stage 3 journey and you've given insight on how to get the custom exhaust sorted! So thank you!

No spacers atm however I have bought 2 pairs of 10mm. I think I will have raise it up by 0.5 to 1" higher. If I went for 19" rim then I may get away with if the tyre has a lower height profile. I will take some pics once I've cleaned it as the it's on a fairly driveway.

Had a great run up to Glasgow apart from the roadworks which drained so energy out of me by the time got here. Truly impressed with the setup can wait to take on some B roads in Sports mode. First drive - 4.5hrs on the Motorway, fully loaded boot and 3 kids. So impressed with the B16's along with the Whiteline ARB kit. Much firmer and in my opinion so far these settings work best: Eco for the streets and comfort for the Motorway. Surprised how well the shocks coped and didn't rub the wheel arches at all.

It riased up by an 1inch! Thoughts? There is plenty of thread left to adjust it higher if needed. How much to source the parts? DId you get Pab567 to update it? Yeah debating if the exterior should modified would love some rims however the mechanics is keen tokeep to standard looking outside! Rear has been raised! What do you guys think?

Bilstein B16 DTC coilovers

The inital setup is too low at the back so its been raised and we are letting it settle overnight then the tracking will be done.

So I've decided to go Bevo Tuning in Cornwall based on recommendations and reviews, was going to go for Unicorn driving the car there without a basemap would be risky the other options is to get the car transported there once all the mods have been fitted. I found a local Bevo agent to come over and put a basemap so I may drive down to Bevo and get it tuned by Simon. I need to sort out a custom exhaust prior to then. The car has done 69,000 miles and the waterpump/thermostat housing started leaking a few weeks prior to any mods being fitted.

I use to own a MK2 Octavia VRS which was at stage 3 and I had got the K04 turbo rebuilt by AET Turbos. I had put my name down to get a retune by R-tech (August 2020) as I had the turbo upgraded to 370bhp spec and waited a retune to get the full potential. However after months of waiting i got fed up ( im calling this Covid Blues and I eventually got a call back in June 2021) and start looking at MK3 VRS. To shorten a long story, I ended up buying a MK3 Superb 280 L&K estate. Main inspiration was "Darth" and I always wanted to try an estate. So I bought the Superb at the back end of February 2021 and inital plans were to go to stage 2 only. Looks like im going to go fully to stage 3 now! In the meanwhile please enjoy of the pics!

I purchase some Eibach springs with the Springs cup a few ago and dropped off to the mechanic. He informed that my front shock had woren badly and replacing. I tried to source some B6 DTC in the UK however there seems to a wait of up to 8 weeks! In the end I managed to get a set of B16 DTC coilovers for slightly more than I would have paid for the B6 DTC's! I've just bought a 2015 Superb MK3, didnt drive for the best part of a week and the battery is flat! I think a car battery usually last about 3/4 years before they has degrading. My new battery should here today so I will let know if I need to tell the car its a new one!
