  1. I don't even doubt is is not related.
  2. I think it may say Genuine VAG on the packaging but probably made by LUK or Sachs.
  3. What is the trim level?
  4. Yes DMF are expensive. What model is yours?
  5. The 1.6 in my Greenline Yeti does not have a DMF so if yours is the same will probably not need changing.
  6. This is for a 2013, a revised one may be had by changing the year. https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/yeti/yet/2013-666/9/971-972035/
  7. 3 methods to lock car with interior detection disabled. 1 - Lock using switch between the front seats behind gearstick. 2 - Lock using 2 presses on the fob within 2 seconds. 3 - Loch on fob after pressing switch at bottom of drivers "B "post.
  8. Did you not see the instructions in the 2nd post?
  9. That only happens if you have reversing sensors to let you know that are active not just to let you know you are in reverse, you should know that you just put it in.
  10. I find them rather comforting, you must be on edge.
  11. If leaving the car with someone in, the same effect can be had by pressing the lock button twice within 2 seconds.
  12. No DMF on the Greenline.
  13. Could be in the tank.
  14. Strange that captainbibbles has answered none of the questions.
  15. The air-con compressor has a clutch on the pulley the climate control compressor does not, flow is changed on the swash plate inside so no clutch needed.
  16. I think it depends whether it has air con or climate control.
  17. No. The only thing that pops up now and again is a squeak from the instrument dials.

Yes but read my quote again for his 2011 car. """it has a cam belt that should have been replaced at 4 years and that belt then every 5 years."""

Mine has Cross Climate+ on the rear and Michelin Energy on the front, looking forward to getting something grippy on the front now as the rears in snow are like limpets. I am not stupid enough to put them on the front and for the rear to keep swapping ends.
  20. Why not upgrade the headlight bulbs with something like Osram Night Breaker Lazer for better lighting than the extra foglamps will supply or is it more for the pose value?
  21. Why do you need more fog lights? Could you not take the feed of the fog lights already there and use a relay if necessary?
  22. Urrell replied to Dublin's topic in Skoda Yeti
The diesel Yeti does not have a timing chain it has a cam belt that should have been replaced at 4 years and that belt then every 5 years. On another forum there is a 2wd 110 Yeti that has passed 370,000km
  23. Dunno, I think a lot depends where it is done. ""1-2 hours to work out the issue(s) at £100 per hour "" that is just taking the mickey.
  24. Sounds like a failed clockspring.
  25. What part are you asking about if the clutch slave cylinder it's in the bellhousing.
