I moved to a Yeti in 2015 after 11 years with a Fabia Elegance Estate. You will not regret the the move, got into the Fabia after about a year with the Yeti and what seemed like a comfortable car for all that time was surprised by just how good the Yeti is.

Some phones are not compatible, especially the early bluetooth with modern phones. Edit: Have you been into the System Setup/Bluetooth menus?

Could it be it lost communication with the key transponder?

Is it just a pipe pulled off the connection?

As more than one fuse to the radio disconnecting the battery for half a minute is a better option. The recent miles on the trip will be lost but everything else should settle down after a short drive.

Yes, no mention of power steering in either fuse box.

Does music work if connected by USB or AUX?

If an advisory on the MOT it's something that is not going to get better and must be near to a fail. Perhaps it could be saved if some form of protective coating could be applied.

You cannot hold down throttle then brake to dry out disks after going thru deep water etc as throttle goes to tickover and it'll stall but pedal feels normal. But if you have a little speed and brake gently first you can then apply throttle and it will respond, brake must be applied first then balance throttle against brake.

The standard 8 speaker speaker system in mine is excellent.

If it is a problem with the secondary latch it should be possible to lift the bonnet to the catch and get something like a long screwdriver to push the catch across at the bottom of the hook.

How do you do that with the bonnet closed?

Is there any resistance on the cable?

That k you added there makes a lot of difference, don't get much for a fiver today.
