@Happy_owner what is your life expectancy? Are you getting buried or cremated and might your last road trip be in an Electric Hearse?

the truth about electric cars
The road ,air and marine fuels heavy oils and heating fuels are produced as part of the refining to get the lighter petrochemicals. Ineos will do as it wishes as far as the UK and refining and cracking plants. Now the adverts have their products / detergents having the public aware of who this was sponsoring sports / teams.

the truth about electric cars
Is there some reason there that the precious metals imported to the UK is not shown? The UK mining for them is not that big an industry is it? Is it because it does pass through the UK or is traded without ever actually leaving security facilities while in Transit? I would have thought gas would be a big export for the UK, even just from how much goes to Ireland. The UK,s exported defence / weapons must just be below the top ten, then lots will be technology and services. Or used in other figures / groups of exports.

Does the 1.5 TSI Have Rear Disc Brakes?
Same here. Shoulder killing me. Distraction from the prolapsed discs, the ankle and knee and arthritis in hands. Even changing light weight 16" alloys at home was a struggle to change last week, but getting off the ground each time was really awkward, then I left it a while before the tidy up and put away. I used to change plant wheels, and offroaders just a few years ago and big stuff using slider plates years back.

Automatic locking system override
Great that there are still cars with a HAND Brake that the passenger might try applying as the driver faints or has a heart attack or what ever while dtiving. The e-Brake (finger brake) being applied by a passenger is a scary thing when done by mistake, i dread to think how it will be with a driver not awake to be doing any driving. Better than nothing i suppose.

the truth about electric cars
The UK is tiny really as far as the world goes. I hear from Candidates for Westminster that it is the 4th biggest exporter in the World. Really? There must be a very large amount of whatever coming into the UK as Imports before then being Exported because the UK certainly has not huge amounts of resources or an over abundance of anything has it? Not even enough energy to power the countries industry or feed the population of the UK. ............. Tesco buys fuel from Greenergy that they have partial ownership of or did. Greenergy that partner with Royal Dutch Shell for importation and storage and the distribution of fuel to many including Branded big retailers and Independents big and small. Fuel OIl, Oils & other ingredients of fuels are traded world wide, so globally, and transported all around the globe. http://greenergy.co.uk

ESC, TPS, Start stop, Front assist, resistance light
When people used to speak about a Full Service, a MAJOR Service or The BIG service, this was the kind of thing that was part of it. BMW, Daimler-Benz (Mercedes) etc. All fluids replaced, even bulbs. Cost lots, and often when The Big service was due was when people got rid and bought a new car.

My 2023 MINI Cooper S Level 3 Electric leased from Motability which will be with me for 3 years & now a 2021 MG5 as a dog wagon.
Better last night. Started with 99% / 109 miles and 103 miles later of mostly motorway using cc and green mode I had 18% and 19 miles showing. Just a pity the one Rapid near is broken so later on going to sit the car on the one 11 kW AC in town and get the £5 minimum charge that has to be paid. 16 kW. About 90 minutes. Or if it is off then onto a 7 kW and still take a min 16 kW. Then before heading away in a day or 3 I will again need to charge to 100% and get value by at least taking 16 kW. Just a crazy decision from South Ayrshire council. Anyone with a PHEV or BEV needing just say 13kWh or less is paying a stupid amount. And instead of freeing up chargers people are plugging in when nearer empty to get what they are having to pay for. CCS is off. CPS says someone was out on 24th and repaired. A wire to the Emergency cut off was broken. So a ticket has been raised again. Seemingly I am only one to report it down. As Tom Jones sang. Not unusual. 25°C...is.

the truth about electric cars
As they tried with Suzuki to get the knowledge but that cost them when because of their greed and bad behaviours the whistle was blown and the Defeat Device scandal was revealed. Suzuki bought back their final shares on the eve of VW losing first place as the biggest manufacturer back to Toyota who might just go and lent Suzuki the money for the buy back.

Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
People all over the world are concerned on many things. Climate change / global warnings, forest fires, flood, oceans rising. All concerning Fire and Emergency Services as well. Fire Service and Emergency service in the UK are purchasing quite a lot of BEV,s into their fleet of cars. They go with the flow sort of thing. It is fortunate that there are fires at recycling plants in the UK but they really are less common than moor fires in the UK and take up nothing like as many man / woman fire fighters time and resources as these. These informative videos and bloggers / vloggers are very good at giving information and telling the news of vehicles and ev,s. Not sure that any governments or manufacturers are giving a flying duck on anything they have to say though..

P|ss today. At 100% /112 miles. 74 miles later at 42%. Half nsl and slow, 36 miles to 1 hour, then motorway. Light rain. Into rush hour near Edinburgh airport so on to MFG as quick and easy. NOT. First never started, 2nd started and I went for a pee. Came back and it had stopped. Then my card canceled. Went on another, another card canceled. Locked in 5 times trying to start them. So after 30 mins in traffic I get to the podpoints. Credit on app. Paying 65 pence a kWh instead of 79 pence. Got bank cards clear. Topped up podpoint some more. Just as well I was 2 hours early and flight in will be near 1 hour late because it will take near 1 hour to get back to the airport. Where the rapids are still not working. Damn expensive 79 miles really. And next charge will be 37 pence a kWh in 90 miles which makes the overall cost OK. 20kWh £12.73 PodPoint. EDIT. Edinburgh park and ride rapid are back working.

The next generation MINI Cooper Electric 2024 & MINI Aceman 2024/25 pics & Videos.
With the noises on it really does sound as sh!te in real life as it does on here IMO. As does the Abarth. As for JCW Trim, well that is a p1ss take. The key fob never needs to come out your pocket or bag, it is keyless entry and start. As to the touch screen and all that is there, bl00dy fantastic if you are very good with your left hand / fingers if you want to select stuff on the screen in a right hand drive car. Reaching across with the right hand to do it when driving is just not really possible unless you have a very long arm or fingers. ET Come Home!. Well explained. Facts.

Jonny Smith Late Brake Show youtube vids, some are Interviews and many will be on other stuff transport related.
- Minimum Weight
Kerb weight includes a full tank of fuel. Pre WLTP they used to have it at 3/4 of a tank.- Automatic Central Locking When Moving
I would want to see that Skoda CZ or VW Germany accept that it is not as they designed and manufactured the system to work differently from before and not someone somewhere in the UK who has no technical or mechanical knowledge or education.- TDI Official Oil Consumption Limits
0.5 litres / 1,000 km is not the 'Within tolerances' just the figure used for 2 decades or more for 3,4,5.6.8.10 & 12 Cylinder petrols or diesels from 44 kW upwards. There have been engines replaced under warranty for using 0.3 litres in 1,000 km. The Audi oil drinkers being a case covered over a period of time, and well documented. It is about, May use as much, and under certain conditions. Normal conditions which are not extremes are a different matter. Simply get the document from VW Group that states the Tolerances for oil use for which ever engine. What they get away with in the EU / Europe - UK is not what is acceptable in other World Regions. They messed about thousands of Mk2 vRS 1.4 TSI Twincharger owners with VW,s, Skodas, SEATS & Audi,s with cars in warranty, and they sometimes got away with it, but not always. As to out of warranty, they were caught out by people with After Market Warranties because the Warranty Companies knew there were a Fundamental Design, Manufacturing or material faults, and VW Group did deals with Warranty companies. ie made sure they never took the financial hit.- Minimum Weight

26°C and the MINI loves it. 16°C heater which is the lowest and no AC on and in town just windows and roof open and average speed 13 mph or so and showing 8-10 miles a kWh.- TDI Official Oil Consumption Limits
Sooty TSI exhausts are because running rich. I prefer to running lean. (Oil is a whole different kettle of fish in sunflower oil.) If oil gets to the exhaust tail pipe of a TDI then there really is something very far wrong.- Kodiak towbar without prep
Skoda Dealerships do not eve tick the 'Towbar preparation' on all cars they Order in, Stock, Demonstrators, cars that are going to be Pre reg. Ex Demonstrator or Ex Management. Especially with the vehicles with Haldex. Skoda / VW UK as well with what they bring in for going to where ever they end up.- Kodiak towbar without prep
@Seanbont So it was someone at a dealership that said Apparently, or you are saying Apparently from what they said? - Minimum Weight
