  1. Here they show as much as 48%. The other articles say 38% when 37.6%. Is it like pick a number any number, big differences to car prices for some, even when only part of 1%.
  2. Just heard it on radio. Something for the New UK Government to get dealt with very soon as in like this weekend. I was going to post Big Trouble in Little China, but actually big trouble for the Little UK and car manufacturers that export to China. The Luxury vehicles exported to Chinas's prices might no be affected if China take reciprocal actions.
  3. Someone will be along that knows. The thread on a 1.2 3 cylinder is really not that relevant to your 4 cylinder 1.2 TSI.
  4. There are New / Delivery miles or well under 1,000 miles MINI Electrics (SE Level 2 or 3) of the up to February registered or so current models for as low as £18,000 advertised, & as crazy high as £40,000. Possibly an error, or some dealer putting up the Average Prices for Autotrader.... ^^^ Not based on the BMW iX1 Platform. So. Might as well see what it is all about.
  5. @TonyRoman I assume you drove the Demonstrator as it was handed over so have no idea what the tyre pressures were. I take a tyre pressure gauge and if the tyres are over or under inflated a tell the salesperson they need to get their act together and do the job properly. Same as with the hand over of new or used cars.
  6. Try a search on Google Images. Also look in the Octavia Project section. eg.
  7. @logiclee On a phone you do not see the stuff to the left on cars. So all 3 you have are 2023, thanks. Different from a 2018 then. As soon as you touch the accelerator again and apply pressure the 'Coasting' is ended and drive is engaged.
  8. @logiclee Useful if you say which year your 1.5 TSI ACT DSG is.
  9. Switched to Fixed Servicing. @Joss1733 Haldex Service due at 3 years / 30,000 miles or sooner. Your car is out of sink for Oil & Filter Servicing. Whoever reset messed up. There are no just 'Inspections'. So Oil & Filter inspection services on Fixed Regime / Annual / 9,400 miles, or Variable / Flexible 18,000 - 20,000 miles / 24 months or sooner if you want. Oil service & Inspection & Extended Scope & 3 years / 30,000 miles.
  10. Sorry not an answer to your post. ? Why not just get a Remap, especially since it is a 1.5 TSI ACT. You are informing your insurance anyway. There are threads in the Performance on remapping and there are members now that have had them done.
  11. Some BMW Auto,s do not show what gear they are in unless in Manual or Sport, the same with other manufacturers as well. VW included.
  12. Fine as long as a BMW does not needs parts and labour because they are no cheaper.
  13. @tich1958 Who did it for you? Plenty do it free, but setting up and doing it takes time labour. Many do not know their arse from elbow and go through the motions. With some it is best they touch nothing if they are clueless.
  14. Was it just tracking or was it the alignment that checked? Did you not speak to the person that did it about why the tyres were as they were? Did the did the Tracking check for FREE? Were they qualified to make any adjustment and did they do an inspection of the suspension looking for damage or wear?
  15. @Kaoli If instead of D7 or D6 it shows just D that is because it is Coasting.
  16. @Legin T If new tyres & new car / brakes then the car is being 'Driven in', as Skoda called it, RUN IN as most of us call it. Brakes tighter / new, so it is easy to get a bit of binding and heating of the wheels, hubs and a pressure change, or actually the tyres circumference and a warning. Hopefully now warning will just be if a loss of pressure and not just a fluctuation.
  17. Re the TPMS. Looking good is not the point really. ? Did you check or reset the tyre pressures when you got the car, set when cold & reset the TPMS. Are the tyres at that same pressure when checked again when cold?
  18. Hopefully those that have bought the items and used them will be along. Look at the threads / guides on here on doing the service, including filter.
  19. Unfortunate. Before jumping from Frying pan & into the Fire & the John Clark Group in Aberdeen, call Victoria Garage Maud and see if they can deal with your warranty issues. http://victoriagarage-maud.co.uk Well worth the miles if you make a day of it. IMO.
  20. Welcome. Which Dealership group are you having to deal with?
  21. Which of the 3 types of Speed Warnings have the 2024 cars got fitted? Is it the simplest & is there a Data Logger? I assume there is. An informative or advisory ISA. Showing a warning. A supportive or warning ISA. Increases upward pressure on the accelerator pedal making it harder to push if you exceed the speed limit. An intervening ISA . Reducing power if you are speeding.
  22. Wrong. Possibly happened, and has actually happened. 'I will tell you this boy!' #Rab C. Nesbitt. & i can tell you why. Simply because it happens with Fabia, Scala & Kamiq which do not have e-brakes.
  23. Just watch Police vehicles. marked cars, vans or motorbikes & see just how they might not indicate lane changes and that is not while in pursuits or Blue Lighting it. Same with pulling away from a kerb or roadside. They get a blow of the horn from me, or a headlight flashing. Lots on their minds maybe other than other road users, or keeping us on the ball.
  24. Plenty members here with an ICE or Hybrid / PHEV have had their vehicles applying the brakes for no reason they as the driver knew off. Maybe the BEV,s as well. Not even a crisp packet, wildlife or reflections. VW chose to sort out VW,s or Audi,s before Skoda or SEAT and still have many having issues. Safety Critical. Full DVLA Recall. Over the air Update is not going to be cutting it. Maybe a Update from the DVSA / DVLA is what is lacking.
