Get them to put that in writing since they are professionals, the Area Warranty manager can do that. All you need is the confirmation it is a Fundamental design, manufacturing or material fault. That is what warranties are about, crap parts failing.

@MastercardAs above, does it start higher and drop in 40 seconds or so. where are you as in what is cold weather and what is hot, is it the UK, and is it the coolant & then oil hot, is it a DSG in P, ora Manual, is AC on, or just lights, radio, heated screen, heater fan?

? How soon before you bought the car from the Dealership in November was the Service done according to the records? Was it you that requested a service because it was due or overdue? (It is just that a Full Main Dealership history does not mean someone does not do Oil Changes in between Dealer Servicing. ) As to removing the Sump Plug, there are Dealerships, Garages, Mechanics, Technicians / Fitters that suck out the oil and do not then remove the sump plug and replace it.

Lots of bongs and safety features were not actually required by the legislation in the EU or now EU & UK, but were for New Type Approved vehicles so were standard factory features pre required. Now in 2024 there are plenty that are legislated as having to be standard on New Cars, not just New Type Approved ones.

@MarkyG82They are not Snow Tyres, Nordic or Studded tyres, but they have a 'Winter Suitable' approval so 3-Peak Snow Flake and can be used in European Countries that require 'Winter Tyres' EU Certificate.

Batteries can be replaced. & with a bigger battery as is happening now. As in Robert from Fully Chargered,s car. There were EV,s left parked during Covid lockdown (Nissan Leaf) and full of mould, a health hazard, locked and without power and these were uplifted without being opened and removed supposedly for disposal. There are different Dynamic Settings TC, Dybamic, OFF, then 2 regen settings. Battery is under 30 kW usable. What kind of Reduced Overnight rate is is thinking of? 34 kWh @ 30 pence is £10.50 Day time rate. Anytime for those without discount. 34 @ 15 pence is £4.13 So 34 kWh, near empty to 100% at 10 pence is £3.40 @ 7 pence £2.38. Max

It is indeed kW for chargers, as in 3.5, 7, 11, 22, 43 / 45. 50, 80, 100+ But then it is kW for power of the motor as in kW, or PS or BHP. What you really might need to know with a 30, 50, 60, 80, 100 kW battery is what the Average Charge will be from a 50 kW charger, or a 125, 150 kW etc. So how many kW will you get in am hour, 10-80% maybe, 20-100% etc. No wonder people get confused. The Chargers can not even show what the MINIMUM kW they are about to deliver before starting to charge, maybe because the charger is cold, the cars battery is cold or just it is a crap charger when used with some EV.s

If you are not going to be able to identify repairs, poorly executed repairs or even well executed repairs you need to have someone that can check the car. A Car Check site is not going to tell you that a car damaged and not reported to an insurer or claimed on was damaged.

? What sort of thing have you in mind, performance / handling or cosmetic? Any mods of anything important would need declared to the insurer to keep your cover valid other than covering 3rd parties. If your car needed recovered to a Dealership anything that might involve a warranty claim will be obvious.

Apparently according to the word on the street, social media, and news media EV sales are dropping, cars are piling up on dealership forecourts, or maybe just in the USA. Supposedly people are getting rid of EV,s and going back to ICE vehicles. Whatever is going on is going on anyway and if people do not want touch screens, or touch areas with no feed back and Right hand drive and left hand screens so not suit then people buying / leasing their own cars need not have that. Voice activated rubbish can be a total PITA if it needs talked to in certain ways and even then does not do what is required. Employees might just have to tell the bosses they don't want that crap either.

Well not those that also complain about them and have had the likes of VW Group stepping back a bit from the crap they were turning out. Blistering acceleration is just crap, you can only go as fast as the car in front, or overtake fast and then get up another vehicles back end. Lots of the EV,s are like lots of fast accelerating cars, blinking the TC / ASR because of tyres with poor grip on anything but perfect surfaces, no damp / cold. The reviewers of the Fast and Exciting to be Macan / Mecan show you how fast i am) Electric, talk about how they will handle, how a Taycan handles. 60 MPH NSL,s on roads with corners in the UK, they live / drive in a parallel universe.

The Dealerships issue is they got the car and after that it could have been taken for a run, parked at the shops while the Sales Person, Tech / Fitted got some munchies, or it even went to the prep area and someone or something was on the roof or hit the roof. It could have been anywhere after you left it with them. It was In Trade with them, covered by their insurance.
