My 2023 MINI Cooper S Level 3 Electric leased from Motability which will be with me for 3 years & now a 2021 MG5 as a dog wagon.
-2. Car preconditioned on charger and at 100%. 180 miles to do heading north. First charge in 70 miles to get to 99% and then heading into the warmer weather but with snow on roads so maybe need charged at Perth to be having enough range incase of issues. Hold ups.

Inner tyre wear Dangerous Anyone Else?
I bought this Fabia vRS at auction after a much a check as i could do. Trailered it home, to the MOT station on the morning and it was a fail. Not unusual. & not the last one i spotted with the same issue. Alignment on this one was dead on. Unlike some that had track rod end issues and were covered by a TPI.

Is it a Monte Carlo. TDI or Tsi ? ? What are the tyres fitted? Maybe only the badge saying Special is the special thing. Maybe the car is not on the factory Sport springs, or the Dealer fitted options. Eibach slightly lower. You need the alignment checked by someone competent and if adjustment needed then done.

Alloy Wheel Sizes?
^^^ Those threads get posted as examples quite a lot, but then they are b0llocks. As to Mr.Loophole the solicitor in this country. That country is England & he possibly gets people off in Wales. If he practices in Scotland then good, different laws here and as far as Sheriffs & Judges and who ever is dealing with cases we hope they are on the ball.

Inner tyre wear Dangerous Anyone Else?
Welcome. Loads of people have had the issue in the 13 years since the Monte Carlo or vRS came out wearing 205/40 R 17,s. What are yours, Dunlop Sportmaxx? ? What is special about your edition is it a Tech? When were the tyres last checked properly and not worn, and how old are they?

Excessive internal windscreen condensation
Damp trap. As illustrated by pictures of Damp Traps. Just those who can not think for themselves. Dehumidifiers is the name sold under now. But not the ones you plug in to Dehumidify someplace. Search Damp trap. Some still retail as such. Or Moisture Trap, or Moisture Absorber.

Excessive internal windscreen condensation
Yes, valeters products can be terrible on glass / windscreen in the cold. The stuff used on brand new cars reacts with what ever chemicals come out the new plastic as well as the AC and that horrible blue blume. White Vinegar is as good as anything to clean off the crap stuff. Or Meths, alcohol / spirits, or more expensive stuff. Scrubbed with scrunched up news paper worked well enough for decades with Tight Scottish people like me. As did DRY Rock salt in Marg containers with some holes pierced for damp traps, But i do not grudge paying a £1 each now. (Having made money cleaning cars properly.

The next generation MINI Cooper Electric 2024 & MINI Aceman 2024/25 pics & Videos.
I keep watching for anything with the New MINI Electric being driven since the reveal happened but so far nothing i can see. Daily i get stuff from MINI on the Lights, Screen and style. This was vid 7 months ago and shows as much on it than anyone else has driving one, No idea about more power and more fun because there no way i could drive any faster on twisty roads and that is with suitable tyres not the crap summer tyres fitted as standard. That is to all MINI,s not just the electrics.

You can do that or someone can decode your build. Take a picture of the sticker in the spare tyre well. & @Carlstonwill have the knowledge of what springs and dampers were fitted.

Excessive internal windscreen condensation
There are threads every winter on the same subject. Water trapped in the door, passenger door if not opened. So see the seal and the drain holes are oh. Pollen Filter clean / dry. No water in the spare tyre well. Dry Carpets. Use the AC when it works, above 2*oC. Put dump draps in the car and boot. Clean inside windows and use anti fog. etc etc

Electric Pickup trucks.
Will it pass European Type Approval. I am pretty sure if i built a kit car like this and took it for an IVA test the corners / edges would fail it.

Swapping front & rear wheels over issues?
@MikeM46it made no difference. You reset the TPMS each time you check and reset the tyre pressures do you not without a visit to a dealership.

Air bag warning light
@JamieH86does the MOT examiner not peel it off as some do or are you not in the UK? Or is it behind the glass not just on it. The examiner should look for the Airbag light on ignition on and it going out. For years I had airbags removed in offroaders and not an issue. Also engine lights covered with tape, then it did become a problem.

Some replace the battery in the siren. Threads showing how to if you look.

Petrol particle filter
There is nothing about blocked GPF,s just how to deal with them if you think they might be getting that way or you notice odd behaviour. High RPM is anti stall. Also heating up the Catalytic Converter, and now it can be the GPF. Let's get to them being fitted to Skoda's for 7 years to see how things go with over 6 year old doing short journeys and lots of cold start short journeys.

the truth about electric cars
He replied on YouTube. At Kinross to reminisce. I like to reminisce but miles out of the route in poor weather in an EV and I will do it at reliable locations.

Yeti 4x4 rufty tufty styling ideas
If you have not had the car from new and bought it pre loved it can have anything so it is down to you to check really if anything is modified or upgraded. That included the mapping.

the truth about electric cars
I stopped using Kinross at the park and ride which stayed free while Fife council charged elsewhere because they never owned the car park because of the 2 BMW i3,s that hogged the 2 rapids that worked and the other was hit or miss. There is charging at the Services but expensive. I must look in past again sometime . Ps. Why was he in Fife?. Abington. Past Stirling. Stirling Castle View park and ride. Or Achterarder then Perth to Inverness. Aviemore Tesla non Tesla if needs must.

It sounds right that ones for Russia might have uprated suspension as an option. As to proper sump guards for Yeti and others I think the member on here that sold them was from Romania.

Electric Pickup trucks.
This seems like a good place for discussing the Tesla Truck. What an ugly barstand IMO. Not even with the appeal of a DeLorean. I am sure there will be ones come to the UK and likely to my area where some totally inappropriate wide yanks tanks are about on narrow roads.

DSG AutoHold at Traffic Lights without brake pedal held down
@Gabbo you do not have DRL,s to the rear unless you have activated then or are in a country where mandatory and the car came from the factory with them enabled. You have tail lights (position lights on with Sidelights or side and headlights. ). Maybe not on if you have Auto set and the car does not decide to put them on.
