New or improved hubs announced, Government EV Loans in Scotland and free & no longer free public charging places..
Clackmannanshire Council looking at a proposal with crazy tariffs. & a £5 minimum spend. 7 or 22 kW @ 48 pence a kWh & 50 kW 69 pence a kWh. http://alloaadvertiser.com/news/23521695.fees-use-ev-charging-points-considered-clacks ............. Angus Council is still 23 pence a kWh for 3.6 / 7, 11, 22 or 50 kW charging and no time limit. Not likely to last. Just now i am getting 3.5 miles a kWh and 13 kW for 46 miles is costing me £3.

False Loss of pressure warning pops up
@Gammyleg I thought i twice said that in different posts.. & the TPMS still flags as a tyre pressure loss because of the dimension / circumference / diameter when the TPMS was set. Not a loss, a gain. The system only came about as a warning for 'Run Flat tyres' blowing out. It is not that 'simply clever'.

False Loss of pressure warning pops up
@automass Quite a high annual mileage, so servicing and maintenance and inspections / checks are rather important. Best have someone cast an eye over the car again. The point about the bearing or caliper and the hub heating the wheel so affecting the tyres pressure / circumference is that it does not matter if you changed the wheels / tyre for one without an issue. That one will also get hot. 'Just pointing out that loss of pressure shown can also be an increase of pressure. When you get a warning you go feel if the wheel is hot, or check the pressure when you get the warning. PS Kwikfit made me laugh. But i am sure they did check the Brake Fluid for H20 content. Not! As to brake service annually, well annual is all many people do get services or inspections, but then they are not running cars as a business with fare paying customers.

Does your car have the 3 'Organ pipes' for 'much sportiness / noise' harmonics / balance or why ever they are there? I remember comments back a few years on them. Like these? http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/432269-air-filter

False Loss of pressure warning pops up
It can say 'Loss of pressure' meaning the tyre circumference is less from the TPMS being set even when the Circumference is greater because a bearing is going or the brakes sticking and the wheel is heating up and the air in the tyre is hotter. That is indicated by checking the centre of the wheel / hub is not hot. Do not touch, just feel for warmth near. As to the rest of the stuff, then plenty on here can help. Has the Taxi been getting its brakes serviced annually or more often, brake fluid changed anytime?

Maybe someone has modified the car, even had a Remap & not put back to factory standard / reset. Sellers don't. Maybe the exhaust. Maybe there is a 'Performance air filter' in the Air Filter Housing. Maybe a dirty one. Check. Lots of maybes. Has the car got a fuel service history and are the spark plugs replace yet? Is it getting the Cam Belt replaced, or was that done already?

Skoda fabia 2016 1.4 tdi
Welcome. Sorry not a clue, but has your air filter been replaced, do you know the state of it? Maybe check. Has the Fuel Filter been replaced? You were getting Winter Spec Diesel up till April, maybe still are. That makes no difference really, & usually i think 'Special Diesel ' is a waste of money. I filled up the other week in error with it at Gulf when there to get regular diesel cheaper than Asda's just along the road. Now i am sticking with paying the 50 pence a gallon (9-11 pence a litre) extra because my old diesel is running so well on it.

DSG repair costs-should skoda pay
@Neillvrs I take it that you will be getting in touch with Skoda UK and the executive office and not the crowd that are contracted to do the Customer Services. Get copies from the dealership of their communications with Skoda UK. Surely they will be wanting an Area Warranty Manager to have an inspection and report on the DSG for the factory & themselves. Treating the early demise of a DQ200 DSG as a rather important matter. Considering the past history of them 2009-2012, then 2013-2015, World Wide Recalls excluding Europe, then the issues 2015-2018 with TPI's on software and clutch packs. Then the MCU issues from 2018 on.

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
Been in looking at MINI,s just because I would like one. But no. Too faffy. It will have to be the next generation if any. So my chuckle of the day is while charging the Corsa I get a phone call from Arnold Clark. To book the car in for a MOT. So July 1 month before the hand back. First thing 8 pm. Simple. Health check. Complimentary. Well yes Motability own it. Any mot work would be free under warranty. Well yes and I just got it back. So they have a Special Offer for £19, a fuel treatment. So I asked do you think it is worth having? It is recommended he says. Well I think that Arnold Clark and their Electric is the way forward needs to train you people I said, read my Trust Pilot review. So he phoned back a few minutes later. He noticed there is a Recall on my car. I told him I know, it was showing while they just had my car for 3 weeks with it not looked at for 2 1/2. So what is the Recall? 'BEV Cross Carline AC Compressor'. Well I will be blown. Mickey Muppet roadshow.

Pug E-2008 Thoughts & any issues?
With a Hyundai Kona it is just the choice smaller battery or bigger one and if buying as a keeper be sure there is nothing annoying with controls or features with the one you get. Comfort and practicality and generally value for money. The Premium 64kWh was the last one i tried rather than the Ultimate 64kWh. Personally i preferred Kia Niro's.

Misfire on heavy acceleration
I gave no advice. Those that work on them all the time will be along. Replacing the rubbers but the coils being ok is interesting. The Spark plugs replaced 18 months ago but checked again is interesting. You will hopefully get advice here from someone that has not got the car in front of them. Probably more help than from whoever has the car right there and supposedly needs help from another remote source at Skoda / VW Technical.

Misfire on heavy acceleration
Really checking with Skoda Technical about a 9 year old Euro 5 1.4 TSI. I think there is kidology right there. The Dealer might be very good, bit what about the Tech / Fitter or Master Tech? The posts in the Tech section you have are interesting but not everyone will see them. An actual Tech / Mechanic might be along that can help you as this is their job and they will have seen plenty of 1.4 TSI's with issues over the past decade or more and likely do not need to BS customers / owners.

Fabia Alloy
The balance weights are useless though on those same style rims as the last generation Jimny for offroad use, The old generation had 205/70 R 15 tyres, the new ones 195.

Vin plate
The plate on the B pillar is the one you are looking at for the weights.

Engine vibration after cambelt change 1.0 TSI 110 3 cylinder DSG 2018 Fabia MK3
I lent a Jimny to a family member and they asked me too look at it a couple of years later as it was a really heavy drinker. The K&N filter was new when they got it as were the plugs. it had not done a lot of miles but they were all in and around Edinburgh.
