CTHE/CAVE Engine...Whats the diffrence?
@thomasaspin Indeed. But then we know that do we not, you learned all about that once you did start learning after you had your issues when you got your car.. That is what makes them a CTHE and the parts are showing in this thread. That is Page 1. Another thread. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/466202-cave-14-twincharger-piston-help

High Mileage MKIII Octavia 2.0 TDI a crazy pick?
Welcome to the forum. What sort of service history and proof of that comes with the car? Has the timing belt and water pump been replaced? What are the tyres, brakes, windscreen looking like condition wise?

Kia EV6
? How many miles did the delivery drive have it for and how many done since the PDI and it was taken out of 'In transit mode'?

Enyaq Sportline or Tesla MY RWD
@Forerunner Are TESLA dropping the prices in Ireland in the same way as they have in the UK this year twice already?

APR vs Racingline
Best get the new plugs in before the remap unless recently in and run the car a few hundred miles before the remap IMO. Tesco Momentum 99 is 'simply clever'. Not the same UK wide though. It is 99 ron min though.

APR vs Racingline
? Who is the place near you? Do they have a dyno, and is your car ready, checked for fault codes, serviced, new oil and filter, new plugs in, clean air filter and running well just now on E5 Super Unleaded? RacingLine are a bit more than up and coming. http://racingline.com/oem

CTHE/CAVE Engine...Whats the diffrence?
3 externally different ECU,s fitted to 1.4 tsi/ tfsi twinchargers 132-136 2009-2012. 2 breather mods, the first in Europe then the 2nd in Australia. Software updates with these. Twice there were locked ECU,s from the factory 2009 - 2012. Then the Oil spray jet mod was started.

Bump incase part difference helps anyone rebuilding a Twincharger.

VW developing ID2(?) Golf variants EV
I have a feeling VW do not know where the batteries are going, where they will source them from or how much they will cost them. Renault will have their new Small EV's out for sale before VW Group reveal production ready vehicles.

Karoq cam belt change - start saving now !
@Skyl1n3maybe not many have had a Karoq 1.6 TDI's cam belt & water pump changed yet but there are others in the Octavia or Superb section that have. Skoda UK / Dealers will just say as usual, @5 years. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=2007718

70 Plate Octavia How can I switch from MPH to KMPH
Simples really in that a UK MOT does not require the examiner to check that the car car display kph by changing some setting or another. C&U is a whole different kettle of fish and for the DVSA / DfT.

ABS/ESP Recall 45F4
@JohnMack I suspect that there is some catching up on missed Recall Notifications or such going on. That happened every 5 years with me getting a Recall Letter on a Suzuki Jimny manual brake fault. My Jimny was an Automatic.

Online Service Record
EDIT, A mod has removed the post i posted after which had a link to paying £20 or Euro to get a Service report. below is what my reply was. ^^^ If desperate maybe some can pay. VW Group have a Corporate Responsibility to allow vehicle owners to know a vehicles service history and for free. They are the market leaders globally that lied and cheated and conned customers and got off lightly.

What size should i go for?
Michelin Primacy 4 are really rubbish tyres and as fitted to EV's to help with range due to the lack of grip /friction /traction. Maybe OK if the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains and you just drive where dry and warm.

ABS/ESP Recall 45F4
Key word search hint briskoda octavia mk2 abs recall http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/436504-recall-on-2009-octavia-vrs-absesc-control-module Maybe a previous owner decided not to have it done, or did and the records are wrong. Is it a car recently purchased so a new Registered Keeper? Does it show here? http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions An error in the DVLA / Gov recall sight has no recall come up under 'Octavia II' 2009-2013 but does under 'Octavia.' http://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall

spare wheel
How does it look, and sign of cracks or reason not to use it in an emergency at a reduced speed to get you to a repairer? Does it hold air OK? Can you get the wheels off the car if you need to fit the spare, especially the rears if you have drum brakes?

VW developing ID2(?) Golf variants EV
VW group need to get selling more of the EV,s they already have in production at lower prices. They are so behind the other manufacturers that have smaller EV,s selling now and going to 2nd or 3rd generations already. The Magazine's / Media need to call out the VW bosses and ask if they will take a 200 euro deposit now on a car to sell for 20,000 euro in 2 years and deliver cars or 250 euros on 25,000 euro ones. VW are so full of guff to get social media coverage.

Used Car Prices
Lots of dealers / traders stock is bought on borrowed money, especially bought from BCA's. Even the Car prep and transportation is on tick and there has to be a turnover of stock. http://www.bca.co.uk/Services/partner-finance

Possible owner
Hopefully someone can assist with your question. Best look into a showroom though. http://skoda.co.uk/discover/boot-storage ? Is the Kamiq not worth considering or is that just too small? The Advance payments are low this month even on a 1.5 TSI DSG. I am waiting until the next quarter to see the prices and hope they stay low as i can not order til May. My preference would be a Scala but only if the price comes down. Waiting times can be quite long so best check just what the supplying dealer might expect as a build and delivery even for a car Mobility is buying. PS I had an Alhambra from Motability and used it like a van. There was the tailgate height but then the floor height was reducing the space for what i was carrying. Is that the size you need for the Scooter, and does it need a lift fitted? Is it the Varioflex seats that are needed as well as enough hatch height?

Skoda Kodiaq Leaking Panoramic Sunroof
If there is a Service Campaign or TPI or Service Action then good. 'Free Gratis'. As long as all Registered Keepers are alerted and not just ones that get their cars Serviced @ Main Dealers. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions
