Yeti big tyres and 20mm lift
A Light bar that spots lights or LED bar can be fitted to. Not a Bull or Roo bar really as it will not protect the front from a Bull / cow or kangaroo. It will not even protect the car / crumple zone from damage if nudged or used to nudge. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/486536-new-yeti The mods do need declared that gave the car a lift and the bar and the tyre size increase over approved but that is another matter.

Yeti big tyres and 20mm lift
@Toneb Welcome to the forum. Some info on your lift would be interesting and helpful to others. What Springs, dampers, are there spacers used with the lift, and how is the alignment etc?

Refreshed Karoq
Derren Brown has left the forum. Likely the new CEO whoever that will be has no idea. The news on the extended Christmas break was released to the press by the Unions. They say production is at 70-80%. Getting the new Fabia produced and delivered may be rather important and that is behind schedule. https://topelectricsuv.com/news/skoda/2022-skoda-karoq-hybrid

How much time do you warm-up your Felicia?
Fuel has markers added so that it's source can be traced.

Starting and idling to charge battery?
Skoda never fitted Top Class or even Quality Batteries though and the MK3 Fabia batteries are not Fully topped up as you park the car. Even new / demo cars sitting on a dealers forecourt will not just fire up after 6 weeks even in a UK summer. As techs / fitters or car valeters at dealerships know. Which brings us back to the OP. And the advice given to the car owner.

Turning off Daylight Driving Lights
Welcome to the forum. Maybe my stupidity, but in the OP i do not understand what you fitted DRL:S / Daytime / Daylight running lights for if you did not want them on when the ignitions was on and engine running & no other lights on.

Moving On
Enjoy the new car. Skoda had them cheap enough for Motability to have them cheap for customers in the UK but they are no big success. Simply it really is not a Crossover / or a small SUV & they are just a hatchback no matter what the Media / Manufacturer call them. Not easy in and easy out enough for many. Skoda are shifting a good few to markets somewhere. Lots of people seem not to realise that raising a seat means some can not see out the top of the windscreen. That includes car designers. It is good that there are all sorts of cars to suit all sorts and sizes of peope and their needs, wants and likes.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
@zetzetPretty sure you are 100% correct. But then we are not talking DPF's / diesels from any manufacturer, the discussion is GPF's and TSI's. Not long to wait until we find out though. The DFT / DVSA are not quite as daft as they have been in the past.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
Will watch out for the fun and games with that and the emissions at MOTs, with a GPF delete as VW group had to mess up drivability of 1.5 TSI,s to get them WLTP certificated. It has taken software updates ever since to gets some cars running correctly to a drivers wants and some are still bad.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
What we know is that others use GPF's but VW Group used the GPF's they used. So now as we get to 4 years since they went on the roads we will get to see how high mileage or low mileage ones do. Then when 5 years old or 6 years old. Time will tell if people need GPF's replaced and what Main Dealers quote / charge, or independents. ? Does anyone know the price of a replacement GPF for a 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 TSI? https://tiguanforums.co.uk/threads/gasoline-perticulate-filter-gpf.7079/

Fuel consumption
Carrying those is the job of the AA / RAC that have to get passed the vehicles all sitting stationary. What a shame that they might just be add about 10 miles range.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
Audi, VW, SEAT / Cupra are certainly building fun cars. Sporty cars even with handling and speed / tractions and not big cars. What a shame Skoda are not allowed to build cars that have anything to do with their Motorsport success and Motor Sport Heritage in the way of sporty cars. They have rallying success with Fabia R5's and all that Skoda gets to build are big heavy Family / Taxi sized vehicles and use vRS / Monte Carlo.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
They are treading water and just producing ICE vehicles as are needed. They along with PSA had the cars through the WLTP first while VW Group could not get their engines certificated. PSA so now Stellantis is the biggest car manufacturing group in the world now. VW have troubles, lack of profitability. The need to sell off parts of the VW Group. A new CEO that was the boss of Skoda for just a short while from the new year. They need to actually do what they have been saying fir years they would do. They need people to work for them that will not do now because they know VW will throw them under a bus if needs must.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
Yes it tells me VW Group had no alternatives because behind the curve. They only have what they have and are going to have to discontinue many of those. The North American CEO who was expected to become the boss of VW that introduced Green Diesels to the USA left VW in the huff in 2010 and became the CEO of Geely / Volvo and Volvo developed properly the Twinchargers & Hybrids. They punted him and he went to GM Global. I suspect he was the 'Whistle Blower' as he was never prosecuted.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
VW Invested in Diesels and built plants in South America & Hungary and elsewhere to have Diesel Hybrids. They went racing with Hybrid Diesel Audi's. They cheated with TDI's they were caught and co-cked up. That big plan went out the window with Billins of Euro's. They were behind on Electrics, they are behind in Hydrogen, they are behind in Software, they are always buying into others to catch up. As they bought into Suzuki whi bought them selves out the night before the Defeat Device Scandal Broke. Now they are short on batteries and materials. Looks like they will have to actually pay to get businesses co=operation these days as VW no longer is the big cheese. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/electric-cars/volkswagen-group-secures-deal-co2-free-lithium You can fool some of the people some of the time, but lying and cheating catches up with you. VW group even cheated with the first Hybrid emissions with the Golf 1.4 GTE / A3 e-Tron's. the made 'errors' in testing Euro 6 petrols & diesels in SEAT, VW & Audi. Not in Skodas. This was 2016 cars after the Defeat Device Scandal. 'False Co2 test results'. They try anything to keep on rolling out TDI's because that is all they Have, TDI's, TSI, and still MPI's. https://uk.motor1.com/news/554938/volkswagen-diesel-paraffinic-fuel-europe/

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
Actually they could not offer them this year if MG Motors and others they partner with did not get the Average Co2 VW group requires this year. As this year as last VW Group never produced enough EV's, Plug ins or mild hybrids. https://www.electrive.com/2021/01/15/volkswagen-adds-ev-makers-to-co2-pool-with-saic https://thedriven.io/2021/12/14/nio-and-xpeng-join-carbon-pool-to-help-vw-meet-eu-emissions-target/

Anyone can ask Filling Station Staff or Managers or Owners in the UK and they are unlikely to know anything other than the price of KitKats.

Extreme E from 2021 on Poverty TV.
12.00-14.05 on STV Today. Live coverage. From Bovington in Dorset. I hope the coverage is a bit better and the racing more exciting or watchable.

Fuel consumption
Keep a 10 liter can of fuel in the boot and do not run about when there are weather warnings with low fuel levels in your tank. If you are having to sit for hours at closed / blocked roads, at snow gates in the likes of Scotland where you are miles from filling stations you will not be alone. Think of those in EV,s that might well have heat in the car for a few hours but not enough range to take the diversions or get to EV charger or ones that are working. Nobody near by either with a handy can of electric.

Battery warning on the Keyfob runs out
@KingRyu I was trying to tell you some batteries just die. Like Duracell. Others say they fade away. Seems like the luck of the draw. As it is Briskoda is the place where there are many Skoda Drivers that can post on their experiences. Simply clever is keep a spare battery in the car for the key.

Do all TSI engines in Mk4 have GPF
The EU and World Wide Harmonisation. Ignored by countries around the world. Much like when there are Global Recalls from VW on the likes of DQ200. World wide recall as the Media / motoring journals publish. They just fail to mention no RECALL in the EU as VW eventually do Service Campaigns. Only when finally they admit the issue is global so in all the markets they sell vehicles with DQ200.s. North America, Australia and others can buy 1 4 TSI with 8 speed torque converter autos because they know the emissions and none of the WLTP con trick EU manufacturers have to carry out.

Tyre wear and wheel spin
Brain for thinking, feet for dancing on the accelerator. & the Saab 5 speed Automatic had a TQ & was not a 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG & so not even comparing apple and pears. A Golf with a 6 speed wet clutch DSG can be different again.

Fabia VRS MK2 sidelight / DRL bulb replacement
^^^ Exactly this. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/338898-mk2-vrs-drl http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/304629-changing-the-drls-on-th-fabia-vrs @wah007 If the 4 lights in the DRL are flickering that sounds like the connection that is the issue. A poor connection / broken wire or corrosion and not a new unit needed. Take it off and clean up the rear and see how it looks. Briskoda search function usually works. Fabia mk2 DRL or vRS DRL finds stuff. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/497081-where-can-o-buy-a-replacement-drl-for-a-2013 mk-2-skoda-fabia-vrs http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/470637-drl-questions http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/468751-daytime-running-light

Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring
The Spare can be fitted or the pressures just at different pressures on different tyres and the TPMS set and it accepts that and can be as happy as Larry. When the spare is fitted and the TPMS reset and the size has been logged it really cares not if it is on for 10 miles or 100 miles. Got the T-Shirt.

How much time do you warm-up your Felicia?
Well we did buy our Super Unleaded in certain months to keep for Sprinting and racing, but then that is because we knew what we were buying. What people do not know is their issue and when you are looking to be competitive then why help them. Just because they are not aware of stuff does not mean it is not true. (As it is for special occasions instead of just 99 ron min i would pay more for European 100 plus, or double for 102 ron but that is a different thing from the Winter or Summer spec we used.) Regardless of if the refining takes place all in Greece the formulation will change to suit seasons. As it does in regions of North or South America or Canada or Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Asia,& the Far East The UK Including Scotland has refineries and imports gasoline as well, and the spec is to suite winters and summers and sometimes the Uk gets winter fuel imported into the UK later than it is sold in other countries and world regions because it is not important as April & May are not generally so high temperatures. https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/market-insights/latest-news/oil/032812-uk-still-buying-winter-gasoline-as-european-refiners-switch-to-summer
