  1. Welsh Coast Customs have a very good name, everyone I know who's used them is happy. You can indeed choose your own style of tailpipe Joel. Gez's sounds nice, a bit more of a burble than standard, and the tailpipe suits the car perfectly.
  2. Corradoboy, I'm with you dude. There's far more important things to worry about than all this guff! Like how to keep the swirls off my paintwork...
  3. Automated car washes are very bad, I took mine through one for a while before I started modifying it and loving it more. The paintwork was covered in swirls and was in very bad shape. One professional detail later and the paintwork's as good as new. No more car washes for me, and no washing it with a sponge either... only using a lambswool wash mitt and the 2 bucket method now
  4. Hey everyone, played this online properly for the first time last night, it's great. Shame my driving isn't! Feel free to add me as a friend... nickl0 Will be well up for some Friday evening racing!
  5. 1) ShazUK 2) PostmanPat 3) Sebster 4) RandomRich 5) mac67 6) nickl0 7) fireman 8) dliviu 9) tom500 10) Alan M Booked up today. So busy with work that I can't get to them til 4th September! Still, it'll be a nice day out for me and I can test it on the drive home to South Wales!
  6. I'll be there from about 8:30 or so. Our club needs to be onsite by 9 for our club stand. Pop along to our stand for a chat if we're around... May well be watching the track action tho!
  7. I can't really offer any assistance or help, but in the hot weather over the past few days I can leave my blowers on 3 or 4 and set the temp to minimum and after a 1 hour drive there was steam slightly noticable when I was breathing. It was very chilly in my car, just the way I like it. Mine's a 54 plate vRS with 17k on the clock, and the AC is turned on all the time. Suffice to say, I'd say yours was faulty.
  8. Cool. One careful owner etc. I'll be buying his car when he sells...
  9. I'm there too, also just spectating.
  10. Yep, I got one on Monday. I'm gonna leave it in the packet and sell it on ebay for
  11. I might get mine fitted there. It's a bit of a drive to get there from South Wales but I'd like to see what the setup is like there and generally just have a nose around.
  12. Thanks for letting us know Mac67, wasn't aware it had been posted. Just added my details to the group buy.
  13. I'm in! 1.) ShazUK 2.) PostmanPat 3.) Sebster 4.) RandomRich 5.) mac67 6.) nickl0 PM sent too. Edit - Just a small query, and it's not really important, but can Jabba still supply these in green? I'd prefer a green one, but it's not gonna be the end of the world if it's only available in black! 2nd edit - Don't worry, just read the original post more closely... I'll get me coat lol. Black it is!
  14. I'm normally not a fan of stuff like that, but I have to admit, it looks good
  15. One thing to bear in mind... I took my car on the Nurburgring with standard rims and tyres on (with lowered suspension) and it handled remarkably well (once the conti's were warm), once I changed the rims and tyres a few months later the handling was nowhere near as good on track... It looks better now, but a track day will mean I need to change my rims over
  16. Mine was fine on standard rims and tyres after the remap, although the Conti's weren't the best rubber to cope with the extra power. I now run narrower tyres on the front and have no problems, although I am using a premium quality tyre now.
  17. I've got a paddle clutch in mine and it took a couple of days to get used to it. There's a slight biting point then if you continue to raise the clutch pedal in the same manner as an oem clutch then there's masses of judder, but you'll quickly learn to avoid it. I can now drive in traffic, do hill starts etc. etc. etc. without any noticable judder. You'll be fine in no time.
  18. I just throw in 4 shots per tankful. That's roughly double strength. The stuff definitely works, and works well.
  19. I think it's a common misconception now that dealers charge too much... Usually you can be very surprised by the costs and at least you know the work is done 'properly' (within reason) even if it does cost a touch more.
