What's the rust on the roof and where is it? If it's anything other than easily repaired stone chips, that'd bother me. Sounds like the off-road functionality is more important to you than colour choice, all others things being equal? Gaz

I was advised by VW to NOT remove the Silikat bag from my 2018 Golf GTI, as I'd be voiding the warranty. They confirmed any failure would therefore be covered. My warranty expires next March and the bag will be removed shortly thereafter. Gaz

Don't think you'll see a 1.4TSI with the DQ250, except as per Gerrycan (which I didn't know). I know it's a lottery, but just to say that my Wife's Polo (1.8GTI) of three years has the DQ200 and it's been a gem - they're not all bad. Gaz
