Hi All I've retrofitted a mib2.5 and a VC. For some reason, I've lost my DCC settings. I press the button and nothing appears on my infotainment unit. Is this something i can code back with my OBDEleven or is this a FEC/SWAP issue? Also the mib2.5 was from the wreckers, so I'm wondering if the donor car may not have had this function. Any help is appreciated

I fix one thing and another rears its head. After installing the mib2 and retrofitting vc, i have a new problem. I can't switch between modes on my adaptive chassis control. I press the button and nothing displays. I'm not sure if this was wiped as part of OBDELEVEN scan but my sunroof settings were. Does anybody know the coding i need to do to fix this?

The unit is excellent quality and fits exactly. I could not see any difference in it and the original manual cluster in terms of quality that it replaced. I'm guessing these are OEM and that was the best price i could find.

Ok managed to get my mib2.5, 9.2 screen and VC retrofitted. Pretty happy but a couple of questions for those that did theirs 1) i cannot see a setting on my infotainment unit where i can personalise the screens. I just have the defaults via the steering wheel. Is their some coding or adaption that needs to occur here to enable? 2) Is there meant to be such a large gap in the trim above the infotainment unit and the trim? Or do i need another part?

Does anybody know how to connect the MOST cable to both the VC and CANTON? i have the orange MOST as per below. If i connect it to the MIB2.5 it leaves 1 female and 1 male connection. Problem is that both the CANTON and VC MOST cable will only accept male. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong

Did you ever find out of is there a guide somewhere to do this?

Hi I recently bought a used MIB2.5 and a 9.2" display to retrofit to my 2016 MkIII. Im told I need to remove component protection on the MIB2.5. Is this all I need to do or is there HECS/SWAP codes that need doing also. I can borrow an VAS5054 but does anybody have a guide on how to do the above?

Ah ok. So, so long as no cable/device is connected it won't draw any current. That is great. It looked like it had a little power button on port and had to be manually turned off. I was just concerned it was like a pushed lighter and that it drew charge

Do you have to manually power off the USB each time. Was looking to do this but know my kids wouldn't turn it off and therefore flatten my battery

Is there no way of getting map display on vc if you have MIB2? That would mean another 1.5k in parts alone?

Thanks Roman I have an OBDEleven so was going i could do the coding by myself if anybody had the codes. A Eurotune company here in Australia wants $1500 to install my unit (not including cost of unit) which i think is high Thanks for the help so far guys

Hi Can't seem to find an install guide to do this anywhere. Does anybody have a link to an instruction guide or youtube vid? Also i hear this requires ODIS Work by a Skoda dealer. Is that correct? Any help is appreciated

Hi All I'm looking to replace out all the chrome window trims on my Superb Estate with the black ones found on the sportline model. I know i can plastidip or vinylwrap them but looking for something more durable. Does anybody have the part numbers for each of the black window trim items. I'm sure they won't be cheap. Our if somebody has a link to where i could buy them, would be appreciated Thanks
