  1. I have a DOS command that I can run from the root directory of a drive or network share and it will list the folder name (not file name) that contains any MP4 files, however, it lists to screen and I am trying to get it to list to a text file but the usual >output.txt won't work - any suggestions? Here is the command I am using: for /r %a in (.) do @if exist "%~fa\*.mp4" echo %~fa
  2. Disappointed with the new Top Gear - lost my viewing
  3. When I bought my car it came with a can of shaving foam in case of a flat tyre. I replaced that a year ago with a proper spare from Skoda (the one on a steel rim) but what I am not sure about is the tyre pressure - will it be the same as the other tyres or as it is a different size is it different? Any ideas Thanks Martin
  4. That's OK I had to update that earlier for full post codes and v13 map so I am running 4120. Thanks Martin
  5. WaveyDavey thanks for that - will it matter that my Columbus is from before Week 22 of 2011 as my car is a 2008 model so can I still use this method? Thanks Martin
  6. OK so I have found PGPSW and created an account. I can download a file from them but need to convert it in some way to use on my Columbus - I did find a post about using some VW site to do this but it looks like that is for later versions of the Columbus and not a 2008 model. So my question is what do I use to convert this into a usable format?
  7. Maybe I should rephrase that - has anyone done some instructions on how to use something like PGPSW then import them into the Columbus? What is PGPSW? Where does the data come from? See what I mean....
  8. Has anyone ever done a step by step guide to creating your own camera POI ?
  9. I had heard of the odd torrent or two kicking about so maybe not needing to part with £15 - of course this would be a breach of copyright just like the ones on the auction sites
  10. When did Hill Assist start? Is it likely to be available on a 2008 model (if it has the correct parts) or is that too old?
  11. It is all a bit of guesswork. On my Saab when the light went on you had 25 miles to empty. If you managed 26 it was because you had walked the last one!
  12. Mine is a late 2008 model and it works on mine - played with it when I first got the car and have never used it since
  13. Good point. If I specify I do not want this applied to my car when it goes in for servicing can they still go ahead and do it anyway? I want Skoda to say how this will affect my car (performance vs. mpg) and if it is detrimental I will expect compensation :(
  14. I just had my alarm siren replaced as it was going off at odd times (not when driving though). As the car had been in a couple of times before the used warranty ran out the dealer call them and said it was still under investigation so the warranty company stumped up to replace it. I think it was about £185 for the box.
  15. Could be worse - couple of weeks ago my brother had a hail storm with stones the size of grapefruit. Broke every tile on his roof and trashed one of his cars, the other was under cover. This was in the French Pyraneese area. Local area had to declare an emergency and some poor soul a couple to villages away was killed by one of the hail stones
  16. I found some of the text too small to read - that's my excuse anyway. 9/10 tagged a legit one as phishing

  18. I have an SSD as my OS drive and Sata as my data drive. Big speed increase. I swapped out my laptop HD with a 500gb SSD and that is super quick as well.
  19. LOL if I used one of these I would have to leave the door open for my legs to hang out!
  20. They are all waiting for a chance to get into Scotland - it will be easy street for them now the SNP is in power. They are already planning to grab all the moorland off the toffs that shoot on it so they can build migrant hovels for them to live in.
  21. I had the same thing - took the tech two minutes to correct it
